Cough cough yes....that's always the battle. I'm usually good with short term foster situations but about week 5 it gets harder. My last litter (from the same momma who is now nursing her last litter ever now that we managed to trap her) ended up with me for 5 months and I cried for weeks turning them over to the shelter. I could've kept one (we are painfully aware of the costs, especially late life costs of elder cat vet needs) but not all three and I could not pick between them. If I could've picked I would've but there was no way. My consolation is in hoping that they get adopted together.Sorry about your insomnia, but thanks for the middle of the night updates on kitten activity. It is starting to sound a bit like you are going to have 5 new felines in your family.
My cats love hammocks but they outgrow the ones made for cages. I got this one from amazon. This particular one is on the small side but there are others that are bigger. Having the hammock was an essential tool for socializing the last batch of kittens that I trapped. I'd rock them in it and they'd fall asleepI love that purple hammock pictured in the cage. Is that a ferret bed, or is it specifically for kittens? I don't have anyplace appropriate to hang one of those for Luciano, but I bet he'd love it.
