The caregiver said Mia showed up for breakfast this morning... said she still had a big belly but they do still have bellies after birth... One of my rescue friends is going out this evening to try to catch her/see if she has delivered. I have spent about 20 hours the past week trapping and I need a day lol I am on standby if we get her though, she is coming to me!
The other feral we caught that was spayed today is a girl!

The bellies become smaller though after delivery, and softer and saggier. I hope you guys can get her soon!

Hopefully she is still pregnant, although we are prepared to climb in a tree and watch her to find them lol

The trick has worked for several of our members! I learned it from an animal rescue show on television.

Any news on Mia today?

If she shows up to eat looking like she’s already delivered, you can play newborn kitten sounds on your smartphone from YouTube. This usually results in mom going back to her kittens, and you can follow her.

It will be so lovely to see pictures of her once she realizes how great things are for her now. Will she be staying with you for awhile?

She will be with me though the rest of the pregnancy and when the kittens wean! For tonight we set her up in a crate with a nesting box, litter box, and food and water. I covered half of the crate then I left her alone for the rest of the night to settle before I try to sit with her.

We are hoping for a small litter (always) but she is HUGE. I am guessing 6 or 7.

Maybe she will have 3 or 4 big, healthy kittens instead of so many smaller ones.
