I agree. If I want to use whatever their app is for, I'll just go to the website for it, by God!Phone apps. I don't have apps, I don't want them, I don't know how to use them and I'm not interested in learning how.

Women might be expected to wear makeup because of our culture, but we don't need to. Our natural face looks better than phoney looking makeup.Dunno about the others, but women are fairly well expected to wear makeup.
I agree with all of yours. Especially the religion section.Wow I must have so many...lol.
General things in the lifescript that are soo overrated:
-Work having to be an important part of my identity.
-Getting married.
-Having kids is the most overrated.
Others:
-Food in Texas
-Religion / Spirituality
-Watching Sports
-Alcohol
I love this and I so so so agree! I don't wear makeup unless it's for an event that I consider to be about costumes ie. weddings, stage performance etc. I save hundreds of dollars and an incredible amount of time not doing makeup, buying makeup etc. My family benefits because it's a more frugal way of life and I can wake up and be out of the house in less than half an hour.Women might be expected to wear makeup because of our culture, but we don't need to. Dunno who Beyonce or Adele are, but the rest yeah. Especially coffee and sushi.I don't like Beyonce or Adele's music. They both have incredible voices, but I just don't like their stuff.
Cats are better than dogs (but I think most of us here can agree with that).
I don't understand the appeal of sushi.
Coffee is disgusting.
If you are older than 25 and still need alcohol to have fun, you need to grow up.
Nor do I.I like to wear makeup too but I don't have any negative thoughts about women who don't, I also keep highlights and lowlights in my hair. Styling is just some product and a blowdry with a round brush. Again I don't have negative thoughts about women who don't.
I don't think it is laziness, I believe it is just personal preference. My mother had ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and we had Hospice come on the weekdays because I was living in Columbus, 100 miles away and my sister was working. They applied her make-up and did her hair daily. As ill as she was, it was important to her and my sister and I would do it on the weekend. The no makeup look and the no styling of the hair that is popular right now makes women look older and tired. I think it is laziness.
Personally I think it's got more to do with the fact that excessive makeup has been the norm since it was popularized by hollywood. It's like eating food with too much seasoning for a long time, if you eat normal food afterward it tastes bland even though there's nothing wrong with it.It was important to her because she felt and looked better having it done. If you don't take pride in your appearance and let yourself go, it makes a big difference in your attitude towards life. I don't mean full face makeup and lots of it, i just wear a little eye makeup and lipstick at times, when i don't have the usual amount of eye makeup people ALWAYS ask if i am sick, and why on earth would anyone want to go into public looking washed out and sick!
My mother did look sick without make-up because she had a terminal illness.Without makeup women don't look older or sick, they look like their natural selves
Thanks I thought maybe I was being too real lol.I agree with all of yours. Especially the religion section.
Yep, that's what I mean by expectations. I don't wear makeup, and I don't care what others think because I'm not an object that exists for their viewing pleasure, but there are definitely expectations and judgements, especially in a business setting. The no makeup look and the no styling of the hair that is popular right now makes women look older and tired. Sure the hair should be groomed and not messy in a business setting. But make up too? I’m just a lowly underling but even if I got promoted to management positions I don’t think I would start wearing makeup.Yep, that's what I mean by expectations.
