I hope mama will settle down for you. Let us know where you have put her for now.

Not sure what a window sill accomplishes. But closing the door and giving her time to settle down may work if you leave her be for a spell.

Oh dear. How about setting up a nest behind a piece of furniture? That or just shut her in the bedroom and leave her be to see if she settles.

She definitely has her mind on something, but it's not a good idea to put the kittens on the sill. Your bedroom should do for now, hopefully.

She might think they need to see the outside world but is not thinking. Is the living room safe from human kids etc? Place some kind of cushion under the window in case she tries again but as already suggested move them to a room that you can shut them in and make sure when you go in and out that you check to make sure she is not waiting with a kitten by the door for it to be opened so she can get out with the kitten. It could most likely be that the place where the nest is right now she does not think it is safe enough for the kittens so she is trying to get them up to a safer place in her eyes. If there is a way to block the window or widen the window either way will make it better.

Maybe the kittens are starting to crawl out of the nest so she Is moving them. Can you put the nest in a taller box so the kittens cannot get out and see if that fixes the problem. Report back as you can and let us know what is happening.

do you have a shoe box you can put the kittens in on the window sill?  Sounds like she wants to hang out there and doesn't want to leave the kittens alone.

No! Give her cooked rice and boiled chicken. Also mix canned pumpkin into her wet food. Cats like it and it really works well on diarrhea.

She must eat. Between diarrhea and nursing she needs as much fluid as possible. She can also drink the broth from the chicken. Just no onions or garlic in it. Is she drinking water too?

She's drinking lots about 1/3 of a pint we thought it was her food so we started feeding her kitten biscuits and meat but it's the same if not worse

Try the suggestions I put forth. How long has she had the diarrhea?

The blood is probably from irritation. Have you called the vet?

Try the canned pumpkin and ring the vet. She may have an intestinal bug. See what the vet says.

Please let us know what the vet says and when she gets better. It's worrisome that she is having diarrhea while nursing.
