Yeah no closets at all so just shut her in the room there 19 days old now she was sat on that window last night looking at the crows nest across the road maybe she wants to teach them to catch birds lol
She might think they need to see the outside world but is not thinking. Is the living room safe from human kids etc? Place some kind of cushion under the window in case she tries again but as already suggested move them to a room that you can shut them in and make sure when you go in and out that you check to make sure she is not waiting with a kitten by the door for it to be opened so she can get out with the kitten. It could most likely be that the place where the nest is right now she does not think it is safe enough for the kittens so she is trying to get them up to a safer place in her eyes. If there is a way to block the window or widen the window either way will make it better.
Maybe the kittens are starting to crawl out of the nest so she Is moving them. Can you put the nest in a taller box so the kittens cannot get out and see if that fixes the problem. Report back as you can and let us know what is happening.
do you have a shoe box you can put the kittens in on the window sill? Sounds like she wants to hang out there and doesn't want to leave the kittens alone.
Yes they are doing well but the mum has had diarrhoea for a while and now has a bit of blood in it everywhere says starve her for 24 hours but can I do this as she is nursing?
She must eat. Between diarrhea and nursing she needs as much fluid as possible. She can also drink the broth from the chicken. Just no onions or garlic in it. Is she drinking water too?
