I've long since switched from old fashioned mops to a steam mop and love the change, and also find microfiber works just fine without chemicals, but for kitchen counters and bathroom surfaces, I'm not sure what to use.
For the kitchen counters I mostly use Mrs. Meyer's Multi-Surface Concentrate (msotly because my housemate does that and likes the stuff, I think it does a crummy job), and occasional comet for stubborn stains.. I'd been using cleaners like ajax and comet in the bathroom and keeping my cat out, but she *REALLY* likes the smell of chlorine ( she reacts to it like catnip ( or silvervine since she isn't catnip reactive.), and even the scent under the door is enough to impact her, so i clearly need another cleaning regimen...
What cleaners are cat safe for toilets and countertops, and do any of them work well?
