She was probably having some pre-labor pains. They can come and go before real labor begins.

Buy the PetAg powdered KMR in the can, not the pre-mixed. :)

I bought what I could afford at the moment from Walmart. But how long do these pre-labors last for? Sarthur2

Oh okay I figured as much. What does it mean when her area is slightly puffy and pink? Remind you not I checked before I left to go to my business event and it wasn't like this. Her area seems to be stretching like it's getting closer to her butt. Is this normal?

Yay!!
It seriously feels like I've been waiting for ages! Lol
So how come my other cat Oakley hasn't given birth yet and she's at least a week ahead of autumn.

How far does autumn area need to be close to her bottom before it's time? Or is that still a waiting game after?

I could be wrong. I may have your 2 cats confused. And are you sure that your other cat is a week ahead?

I think so if not then Oakley if a week behind of autumn. Autumn is the cat we've been talking about and Oakley is the cat that keeps having her temp stay between 99.9° -100.2°.

No babies. But Autumn did what she did when I was gone last night again in the middle of the night. But no babies!
Her temp is still 99.4°

Question what does it mean when both cats vaginal lips are pink? One is pink and the other is not so pink but you can tell it is. What does this mean or is this normal?

Oh okay because I got worried that something is wrong. So is it common for them to be pink and then loose that pink color?

So even if it's 98.8 now? I checked Autumn's because she was acting weird she was meowing while she was laying down. She let me check her and it said 98.8°

I can't keep your cats straight, but it's time for one of them to be going into labor, as I mentioned yesterday. It sounds like it could be labor.

There's no need to keep taking their temperature. When the body is ready, labor starts.

Okay I placed autumn in her nesting kennel. I won't go in there unless it's necessary.
