Okay. Worked all day and it’s still happening. :runaround::drool:
Tomorrow is another day! Lol

rubysmama rubysmama It does take good photos. Froggie really made me laugh.

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 Technology is a love hate relationship. My young days were so much simpler. The phone rang, you never knew who it was but it was never a scam and if you didn’t answer, they called back. It was always friend or family or something important. No one called early in the day , during mealtime or late at night. If you called someone, a human answered. A phone either worked or the company came to repair it. :lol:I laughed at a post someone did about letting some kids try and figure out how to use an old rotary phone. Kids now are a whiz on anything computerized but they couldn’t figure out that phone! Lol The world is constantly changing. My Grandmother went from horse and buggy/ no electricity days into men on the moon and computers. It must have been mind boggling for her. I often changed light bulbs for her. She was fascinated by microwave ovens. Me too. My first cell phone was like a pocketbook! My first video camera was the size of a small cat carrier! We get good and bad with everything. It’s all in how we choose to deal with it.
I don’t answer numbers I don’t know either but if I do get caught by a scam call, I either keep saying bless you until they hang up or I describe how sick I was the last time I threw up. Both work quite well. :insertevillaugh: I had one guy ( really nasty scam about IRS) that I kept saying bless you to who finally whispered into the phone,” Lady, don’t ever answer this number again.” I guess my approach was not one he expected. Maybe sometimes we actually get something good out of something that starts badly. I often wondered what he did after he hung up that day. Maybe he found something better to do? We can always hope.
We still have the beauty and wonder of nature around us! Frogs who send peace signs! :flail:
M maggiedemi I agree. A million dollar pic! I could not believe what I was seeing. They are supposed to be shy creatures but Froggie stayed right there! This posted! Lol Coming back!

M maggiedemi I posted that pic of Lady with you in mind. I think she did that on purpose! ;)

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 If I hear Lauras’ theme I’ll enjoy listening! It would be wonderful if Froggie could serenade Banjo that way! If Banjo ever gets jealous of another girl kitty or frog, we might hear Dueling Banjos!

We have been without rain here for too long. My bird friends love a sprinkle at times so today, I put the stayer on the house and set it to stay a must for the birds to enjoy for a little while. The Cardinals love it the most and they flit around in the water. Sometimes they just sit in the puddles. The jays, Cardinals and some others join in the bird fun. The Blue jays call out all I’ve the yard to alert the others. The next birds I hear are the Cardinals. It ends up being a birdie reunion. The kitties spent the time taking turns in the cat room windows. It was a very good day for all and not one bird was hurt. I’m fact, the cats never looked the least bit aggressive. They just enjoyed the show.

Muffin was the first to notice.

Kodiak was right behind her though.

Purry preferred the floor show.

Banjo liked the show but found it less impressive

Thrasher pointed out a Robin to me.

When I went back to the girls room, which also faced the show, I found Callie with her whole body between the slats on the blinds. Not only had she spotted the birds, she noticed another little guy getting a drink.

He was pursuing the drops as they ran down!

I expect he is a friend to Froggie since none of the kitties seemed interested in trying to catch him through the glass. This is a very young lizard. Barely past being a baby.

Furballsmom Furballsmom Thank you! Glad to be here in fits and bursts! Lol It’s a true challenge to get a post out. I keep trying though!
I was on the phone with an expert today. They suggested some things but think they have an idea. If it does not get corrected I can send them the phone. They do trouble shooting for government agencies so , if anyone can help, I expect they can. I hope I won’t have to go to that extent though. Maybe they can find something through what they looked at today. Paws crossed!

I laughed at a post someone did about letting some kids try and figure out how to use an old rotary phone.
Those rotary phones were hard to use! Especially if you needed to use the number way at the end of the dial, you had to swing it all the way with your finger, remember?

I often changed light bulbs for her.
Ummm...there is a funny story about me calling my first landlord to change my lightbulb. He laughed his head off at me, but he came over and showed me how to do it.

She makes me think of a little music box. A single hug winds her up and she purrs.
Thinking about music boxes & kitties brings back memories of old times and old friends doesn't it? ;)

Lady likes the window seats anyway.
Love the glamour shots! It's like each kitty took their turn in front of the camera.

I told my mom about Frog Prince and she said maybe he is a spirit or reincarnation of a lost soul.

Fayola followed me downstairs and she sat on the step and we chatted for a bit. I asked her if she was lonely and she said, "Yes!". She just wanted to check in to see if I was coming back to bed. I patted her head and she went back upstairs.

Got these super sweet pictures.

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily OMC Fayola is SO ADORABLE with the bleb, on the stairs! *SNORGLES* on her from me!
Jcatbird Jcatbird Yes, technology is constantly changing and I also often think about that, and about how previous generations' lives were affected by changes in their day. It's too bad that some people have such an inimical relationship to tech, don't like it, don't want anything to do with it, won't use it, etc. I know a couple of people like this and nothing I say will convince them that they're cutting off their own noses to spite their faces, so to speak. "Adapt or die" is a motto I take seriously! Yes, it's very much a love/hate relationship for almost everyone, but we need to keep up with these things in order to live, pay our bills, shop, get rides...almost everything! It is what it is. Almost everything in life has changed from how it once was. We can't get it back or put it back. I always try to make the best out of my situation and what I have. It's better than being miserable!
Sure hope you don't have to send in your phone. Will they give you a loaner or burner in the interim if you have to?
I was suspended from twitter for two days for an issue I still don't understand, and it put me in a tailspin as I do a lot of work on there plus socializing. IDK what I'd do without my phone!
Such wonderful pix. Purry is someone we haven't seen very often, but I hope that we will now!
Love that little lizard.
Hope you are feeling some better?

Jcatbird Jcatbird , I hope they can straighten out your phone! If you send it to them, let us know if it starts randomly dialing foreign governments!

Okay. Let me try again! Aaaaaarrrgggh!
rubysmama rubysmama Apple can be very invasive. My only reason for having one is to FaceTime my Dad. NOT worth the price or trouble.

M maggiedemi Demi!! Lol mischievous child!
Muffins is a pretty girl. She’s been full of purrs for me today.
I’m not on a computer. Just an IPhone.

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I shut down all apps I don’t use long ago. I shut down iTunes and the App Store today. I did find one weird thing running that should not have been but I killed it too. Apple requires WiFi for updates which means I have to travel to town for that. Nothing out here. True boonies! Lol I’ve spent hundreds of hours on the phone about the service and about the phone itself. For about a year everything started working and worked well. I don’t know why the sudden change. I’m going to be making calls on my landline though! Lol

My page has gone away during every sentence. This now takes forever to get a post done. :runaround:
It’s not time for tricks or treats yet!!

It’s still happening. Got people working to trace the issue on all fronts. I am hoping that it will cease. Looks like I am not the only one linked with the trouble. We shall see!

rubysmama rubysmama That is so funny! I love the phone! I still have a couple of old ones that I use when the power is out. No electricity needed!

Graceful-Lily Graceful-Lily I am glad to see Fayola so much better. She is responding to your love.

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I remember the earliest of computers. I was exposed very early when it was all binary. It’s so true that we have to adapt to our environment. It was very interesting going to a place where even finding a telephone was unusual. Although it presented challenges it was also very refreshing. A bit of reverse adaptaption. Lol

That little lizard was enjoying the water! Still no rain. I’m keeping water out for the little ones.

I am doing some better. Thank you for asking!
I got cut off there and had to come back to edit to finish the sentence.
Going to log out and come back to see if it helps.

Let’s see if I can share some kitties!

Such a beautiful clowder enjoying the nice weather and scenery! Isn't this a wonderful season? I have windows open, too, and shades up, and doors open, and everyone is enjoying it. Pretty soon I'll be getting up at dawn as the days get shorter. I love that. *Of course, the Three are already up and waiting by then. But they are sweet and patient!*
A nice clean cat room is the best! It ALMOST makes putting up with The Big Scary, Noisy Monster worth it :winkcat:
I have my dad's Apple out in the garage. With programs! including Flight Simulator.

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 Our season hasn’t changed yet but hopefully it will cool off a lottle soon. Fresh air is always wonderful though. I love being outside.
Flight simulator? Fun!

Furballsmom Furballsmom I’m glad you enjoyed the pics. It’s a great feeling to see the kitties so happy. Having a clean place always makes me feel good too. Slow down? I don’t think my gear shift works. Lol One day, I’ll take a nice slow vacation. Lol

Still working on the issues! It doesn’t appear to be the phone. Until I get it solved it will cut my time here though. I’ll be here as I can.

HOPE you get the tech problem(s) sorted soon!
Yes, we generally do feel rumbling coming from the east. :cloud9: A powerful pod of purrbabies, to be sure!
My dad was a pilot. I have his logbook from when he was learning to fly. He always loved airplanes and ships. Sometimes we as a family would go to airshows and to the harbor at San Pedro. Those were great, great times!
Wishing everyone at Chez Catbird a good evening/night, and hope Froggie Prince and his family visit!:heartshape:
