I know it's not funny, but I can't help laughing when the goose goes in the cat, then gets thrown out.

Here's another video, that really shows how aggressive they can be.

Some time back, I read an article that told about using geese as 'sentries' at NATO facilities instead of dogs. They would patrol the area between the inner and outer perimeter fences, and were more reliable because they couldn't be given drugged food to incapacitate them, and they made a gawdawful racket.

I heard or read something like this before but maybe not on the NATO facilities but somewhere else. I guess they are noisy and brave enough to chase away intruders.

I am also needed.
Of course my angel Lady is needed. Especially by me. :catlove:

over the years, he became extremely tame, and would take peanuts out of our fingers, and even land on a knee, if a peanut was offered.
Oh I love him! I'm not really into birds that much, but he could convince me. 🐦

Callie asked about you! She’s packing her carrier to come for a visit.
There's my lil princess Callie. 👑 What about Mama kitty? I haven't seen her in a while. We need the whole rainbow. 🌈

N NY cat man The geese really are like watch dogs! No pooper scooper either! These videos are funny. You wouldn’t think that a human, who towers above the birds, would run away so fast!

rubysmama rubysmama I could not believe the goose went into the car so fast! I laughed too because I could only imagine what the humans inside the cawere doing!:jawdrop::help::running:

Finally! Someone else did a typo and it’s a really good one!

“but I can't help laughing when the goose goes in the cat, then gets thrown out. “

Now that’s a serious hairball! Featherball? Kind of hard to believe a goose would voluntarily go in a cat though. I tried to imagine that but it’s a bit hard to swallow.:lol:
tabbytom tabbytom The geese are very loud and very protective of their environment. Dogs can bite and do bark but geese are a total surprise attack! Lol They don’t really bite but the term of “being goosed” fits! A pinch and a poke! If we see a dog, we know to be careful but what do you do with a bird flying in your face? You DUCK! 🦆

M maggiedemi Mama will be around soon! She was very pleased that you asked about her. The rainbow will be completed just for you but tonight, Wanda Heart has already requested an appearance. Lol So... hearts tonight and then we can watch for rainbows tomorrow. :redheartpump:🌈
I could use a rainbow after all the grey skies here lately!

I went on the search for Mackie food again today. I did find some at the very last store that I had in mind to try! Lol Yay! I would have gone out again tomorrow if I hadn’t found some so I was very relieved. I would have had to travel much further too! Twenty miles x 2 today! The rain stopped before I came home though and the sky was beautiful just before dark.

tabbytom tabbytom As a young person, it does seem the geese can “ Swallow you up!” Poor young one! I hope they didn’t get you! Roosters can do the same thing. I remember being at a petting park which had baby farm animals to pet. A little boy got chased around in circles until an adult blocked the rooster. I haven’t had a run in with a goose or rooster but a baby llama did find my long hair attractive. He tried to eat it. Really swallow me up. Lol I was able to turn around and convince him that I was not edible but not before a few people laughed and got pictures. Eh. Llama hair conditioner. 🦙👅
Furballsmom Furballsmom Thank you. Nothing that any of us would not have done though. A kitty has to eat! Lol

When I was a kid, we had several dozen White Leghorn chickens, and it fell to me to gather the eggs each day so they could go to market. My hands and arms would be covered with marks where I got nailed by their beaks as I made my rounds of the nests. I grew to hate chickens, and looked forward to their demise and reappearance on the dinner table.

N NY cat man I sympathize! I was lucky. My rescue chickens and rooster were friendly. Lol I made it a point to distract the girls when I took the eggs.

I guess a baby Llama is hard to resist. Lol
Of course, they are known for sipping!

Good morning everyone! M maggiedemi here is Mama , per your request. Or.... purr your request? Lol

You woke me early!

I guess so! Lol Good morning Everyone! Have a great day.
I may not be on later or tomorrow because I have company coming! Picnic time outside! I’ve been hearing from a lot of people since all the shutdowns happened. Reconnecting with old friends. It seems that people are checking on each other more now. We have talked many times over the years but haven’t seen each other in quite awhile. We’ll be wearing masks but I am looking forward to our time together. A very rare visit since she lives in another state.
( Her husband already told her not to come home with another cat! Lol He knows me well! Still going to try though.);) Paws crossed!

At that time, I was about the same height as the goose and with it's wide opened wings, I can disappear inside...............

Sorry you were attacked, but equally sorry about what happened to the chickens. :(

They can out run me  and peck me head:shocked:
As I read your post it reminded me of my visit as a child to my Uncles farm. My siblings and I snucked into the Turkey enclosure. My Uncle had over 50 young Turkeys and boy where they vicious. They would give hard pecks to the legs and feet. They were kicking up a fuss. I was so happy when I got out of there. I learned my lesson. Never tick off the 🦃🦃🦃.

A friend shared this with me and I had to come on long enough to share it.
Oh ya, I saw this video a one or two weeks ago. It's scary having this kitty riding behind your car as you never know when you'll get swat
But it has a good ending and the kitty is just a loving fur ball.
Right after watching that... I saw this! A rescue goose can still nip but also shared flight. tabbytom tabbytom tabbytom tabbytom We probably do represent food to some! Lol They seem to have a wicked sense of humor.
yea, in their mind it says 'Hey look at this fat worm.............'

The other thing is, not to mention, beside cats, there are other animals that are ferals too as we are so used to the term feral cats here. I guess when they are being adopted at a very young age, it's easier to domesticate them as they take us a their momma.
