Everything is okay but some cat business came up related to shelters locally. It required many hours of research and was extremely important.
Still working on it today to get the pertinent details.

The shelter work is going to be long term and I am hoping that it will come out well. Many groups are involved. I am but a drop in the bucket. Maybe lots of drops can supply enough water to wash away the cares.

I am reading. Thank you! My eyes are a little tired so I going to take a break soon. We have vet checks this week so I need to be able to drive. Lol
Everyone is trying to make it understood that TNR is the kindest thing to do over the alternatives proposed. Letting them go untended is neglect in my opinion. Too bad those making these rules can’t see that. Maybe they will figure out how unpopular their choices are. I’ll update as I hear anything.

For now we are all do some smiles! I know I could use one. Someone here obliged!

On the subject of TNR, or anything else, really, none of us knew...until we learned. In the age of IT it's easy (for me, anyway) to think, "Why doesn't everyone already know this? It's perfectly logical, humane, and effective -- why isn't everyone on board?" But the fact is that a LOT of people still do not know. That's where organizations like ACA and BFAS are so valuable. They have done the very hard work of compiling information to help others achieve the success we all want and need. They are the first places I always go with any inquiry on the subject.

I always tell my three as I haul out The Big Turquoise Monster a/k/a the vacuum that I am sorry but I have to clean THEIR house because I know cats don't like dirt and because it is absolutely THEIR house.

Demi & Maggie are the only 2 cats I've ever had that are NOT afraid of the vacuum. They love to watch me and sometimes they even get too close. All my cats in the past were terrified of the vacuum.

Calo angel, who was rescued as have been all of my beloved cats, loved to BE vacuumed with the hose attachment/brush. He looked forward to it.

My cats all hate the vacuum. They think it’s a monster! Lol Many hate the mop too but then we did have the Monster bubbles event from the combination of an entire bottle of spilled dish liquid mixed with a box of cat litter! Lol It took all night to kill that bubble monster. Parry is the one who actually loves the mop. He chased it and tried to hang on for a ride on the slip n slide! They all like the dust mop. That’s a fun cat ride! If I were cat size I think that I would like that too! Lol I have seen video of cats like tarasgirl06 described. Vacuuming kitties would be great. Let’s get that flea Out of your long fur Bonjure! We’ll just suck it off! To those of you who have kitties that are not afraid..... bravo! What brand vacuum do you use? I need one like that!

I am tired tonight. Very early and long day divided into many chores. I had company, the cats got mad that breakfast was late, I had to go get BJ’s medicine and take Smokey for a quick temp check and a confirmation that she is cleared to get her immunizations this week. She is okay. Banjo must have eaten a flea. She presented me with the gift of a tapeworm so we have been treating for that. Because of that, everyone had to get flea treatments! I spent hours getting kitties out from hiding because that don’t like flea treatments. I’ve been under a lot of furniture tonight. It took about three hours to get them all but I got it done.
Now they are all back out but some are mad at me. One of those days.

Look guys! She making breakfast! Thank goodness. She’s at least 15 minutes late! Inexcusable if you ask me!

Never feed the kitties late. They sit in the plates and then when you do put the food out they all try to help! You’d think they missed a meal or ten! Poor little kitties!! Most are only at 15 or so lbs.! I can see that being late caused them to lose a gram or so. I sure got a lot of looks this morning. They quickly recovered and nobody fainted from hunger so I guess they forgave me. Until I got the flea treatment out!
I bet someone bites my toes tonight!
