She appears to be but at the vet she only weighed in at 7lb 1oz. It's all fluff.

I often wonder about you....
You're in excellent company, although many of that company would say "frequently."  It comes from spending hours at a cat meme site, where lolspeak originated, also known as cheezspeek. That and having been hauled to a restaurant for my 50th, where the staff sang "Happy Happy birthday, we're so glad you came..." to my intense mortification.  Although, generally, I'm just crazy as an outhouse mouse.

So Mercy has her dental surgery Wednesday morning. When I email with the vet this week I'll ask her to send me before and after pictures.

When her adult teeth came in. front only it pushed the tissue out in the wrong way. Vet explained it much better They want to do a clean and seal and remove the extra gingival tissue. Vet did a consult with the states leading pet dental expert since her mouth was so weird looking. Her back teeth are perfect. The fronts are in good shape it's just a lot of extra tissue.

Mook just had a dental but the before and after looked exactly the same sans a bit of tarter on the backs.

I hope Jaspurr is feeling better now. Mook came home like nothing had happened.

Hope all goes well! When my calico pumpkin face had a tooth extracted-she snapped it off-we dont know how long it was like that-we took her in for her yearly and vet looked in her mouth and all you saw was a sawed off tooth. took her 2 days to wear off of the gas. She slept quite a bit and I dont think we did pain meds unless they gave her metacam. this was over 11 years ago,,my memory kind of foggy.

you guys with your crazy as an outhouse mouse just cracks me up!! does that mean the mouse is full of ....? :)

Extremely well fed.  If I get any more well fed, I won't fit through that little half-moon on the door!

Glad all the kids did well!  And am including Jaspurr in that, just didn't get around to hitting the "quote" button yet again!

Glad Jaspurr is feeling better. I find it distressing to think of my Mercy in pain. This was the earliest I could get her in with this vet. I'm also glad the vet who seen her for her little ER run pointed it out and the regular vet offered a free consult and then took it a step further to have a special specialist take a look.

My poor little baby.. She's been through foster, shelter, adoption, shelter , adopted by us and now we have to leave her there for the day. I know it's nuts but I just hope she doesn't think we're leaving her too.

Darlin, if that cat does not know she is adored, and that you would NEVER leave her, no cat will ever know that.  I'm sure she will be frantically glad to see you, but more because the nice people at the vet's office don't worship her properly.  And, being Mercy, she will milk it for all it is worth.  She's an adorable, minxy liltle diva, and I'd be there spoiling her rotten, too, if I could.

She is at that wonderful age where she starts to leave just being a silly kitten behind and becoming herself. She was looking at herself as her true personality emerges. She's just a little huggy buttercup.
