Kitten Or Adult Food?

I have a newly adopted just turned one-year-old calico kitten. I've had her about two months, and she is around 5 pounds give or take a few ounces.
She is extremely playful and acts a lot like a young kitten ( she also still has fur like a kitten). When I got her from the shelter they gave me two bags of instinct natural variety food. I was looking into buying her some wet food and I am unsure whether to get her kitten or adult food .

At her age, I'd be going for adult food, for sure. My boys are a year and a couple of months old, and they've been on adult food (and thriving on it) for a good while now

At her age she can have adult food, and the selection with adult wet food, or all life stages, is much better than kitten food.

She is a very pretty girl!
