Is this a tapeworm?

This was next to their food bowls. They are 3 years old and have been dewormed in the past. They are indoor cats. I’m going to call the vet tomorrow. Just nervous and am hoping someone recognizes this worm. Thank you.

Not a kitten, must’ve hit the wrong button.

You should preserve it in a plastic bag in the frig. So your vet can see it.

They’re usually cream colored but let your vet be the judge. And FYI, regular deworming, unless they specifically contain an anti-tapeworm medication, don’t kill tapeworms.

It really doesn’t look like a tapeworm but best take it in to the vet for a check.

Could it be a common garden or compost worm that your kitty ate and then vomited back up?
Hence the dehydrated, flattened state.
Do they have garden access by any chance?

They are strictly indoor cats. That’s why I’m a little confused because it looks like a regular worm to me too!

I’ll be taking it to the vet sometime today. I’ll come back to the thread and let you know what they think! Thanks for your help!
