Had a long chat with the internist (I know it’s internist = internal medicine specialist but it still looks more like “intern”) He did a physical exam. Nothing remarkable there except the dental disease which we already know about. Now she’s been taken to the back for an ultrasound and a blood draw. Then she’ll come home with me and finally get to eat in about an hour or so.
Update: repeat ultrasound still shows thickening but bladder stones seen in previous u/s was not seen today. They’ll review the blood work and then call me tomorrow with an endo estimate. At least we’re moving forward again. Endo will be one to two weeks instead of one to two months like consult. Should be moving much quicker towards answers now.
