Thank you for the links. Luckily Huxley ate all of the food that had the pred and other med in it last night. I took the dry food away at 5pm in the hopes that he would get hungry and eat whatever I served him at 10pm before bed and it worked. I think that's what I will do from now on. He's not a big fan of wet food in the morning though. The vet seems to be right and he is more of a night eater so maybe I'll give him a big portion of wet food at night once I can wean him off his meds.
