It's so sweet that he has his girlfriends to comfort him. Do the girls argue about who gets to snuggle with BJ? One of my cats, Little Boy, is very popular with the ladies but Heidi and Lizzie will actually swat each other if they catch the other one sitting to close to LB.

The girls actually don’t argue. The funniest thing is that once in awhile BJ gets left out because his girls are off snuggling. He always looks a little miffed when he sees them snuggling without him. They always welcome him into the pile of kitties though.

Heck, I'LL cough up a hairball for you if you give me homemade butter!

BJ got his butter today! We’ll see if it helps. He is very willing to share! He seems to understand when I’m making butter now. He looks for to his treat. (Me too! It’s so much better than store bought.)

I had a very long day of hard work but as soon as I sat in the great room with the kitties, BJ headed straight into my lap. Flowers seems to be most aware of BJ’s feelings. She was right behind him. She always seems to be able to make him feel better.

Bj had just settled on my lap when Flowers jumped up.

She checked BJ and almost immediately......

The expression on his face changed.

She gave him a head butt and he looks a little more relaxed.

She continued to rub against him.....

settled up next to him....

and put her head against his chest.

She pushed her head into him......

Then rubbed his face with hers.

She put her paw on top of his head and held him a second, pulling him closer until he kept his eyes closed tight.

He stayed still as she continued.

She kept rubbing up to his head, neck and chest.

She did this for a good five minutes without stopping.

When she did stop he opened his eyes. To me, he looked like he was feeling better! She wouldn’t let the other cats near my lap!

Maybe all he needed was a special dose of Flowers. She is guarding him now and they are snuggled together.
It’s amazing the change that came over BJ. If you look at the second photo you can tell he doesn’t feel very good but then in the last he looks much better and more like the BJ I am used to seeing. Flowers must be medicinal! She made me feel better too!
It’s nice to be in the middle of a loving kitty sandwich!

They really are special. I’ve known lord of kitties in my lifetime but they are as loving as any I have ever seen. BJ seemed better today. No coughing. He seemed to be sleeping very peacefully today. He was very relaxed. Flowers must have worked her magic on him.

Thank you! He didn’t cough today. He had company when I had to go out but they said he was fine.
When I came in, he stood up with his back leaning into the corner of the couch and did this!

Ha! Ha! Ha!

To be honest a lot of us are probably considered a bit odd or eccentric. Not a bad thing though. I'll take it!

I sometimes forget that cats have fangs, as Ruby doesn't have any. Hers had to be extracted when she arrived at the shelter, as they were broken.
