We're not doing her party until April due to everyone's schedules (vacations and Easter), but I can't believe I'm already starting to plan M's Berry First Birthday. :running:

Do you have a Build a Bear near you? I’ve heard about their program where you pay your age on your birthday. That’s not so worth it in your 40s. But I wish id done something like that with my kids back at that age. We did DDs 3rd birthday there and put her paci in it. Didn’t work to break her paci habit but she does still have that bear! 😅

We just did it for J's birthday. The $3 bear was nice, but they get you with the accessories. :lol:

12 months!

In a 2023 that had so much stress and sadness, there was always a bright spot named. She brought laughter, snuggles, comfort...unfortunately not sleep, but no one's perfect. My barnacle baby is sweet, persistent, knows her mind, and adds so much love to our family. From the moment she was laid on my chest after her very fast and memorable birth, I knew she was the baby I was meant to have.

She points, claps, says mama, and is starting to be able to take a couple unassisted steps. She still loves food and eating. Somehow she has 12(?!?!?!) teeth. I'm not ready for you to be a toddler, baby girl, but I do love watching you grow and learn every day.

As a birthday treat, because J started feeling unwell after the rest of the activities we did, I took M on an impulse trip to the Branson Cat Café. She loved it.

We had M's party today and I just want to show off her cakes because the bakery once again knocked it out of the park. The main cake was devil's food with fresh strawberry filling and the smash cupcake was yellow cake decorated to look like a basket of blueberries, sort of.
