I took her to the Vet's today, as she had steadily been getting worse with urinary and bowel issues. They checked her for UTI (several different Vets at several different clinics), and she has been on Miralax for her holding stool. SO, SO many tests and so many different meds and exams and nobody could now figure out what was going on. She had, in the past, also had several acute UTI's. But this time...nothing. But she was so miserable and when I took her to the Vet's. They said maybe more tests? Maybe send her to Ohio State? I have to say, at this point, I easily have over $5,000 in tests and Vet visits and she is 8 years old. I am now on a fixed income and I looked at her, saw how very miserable she is and has been, despite all the Vet visits and meds and I finally asked to have her mercifully put down this morning.
I have had her since 3 1/2 weeks old, when I rescued her from an old Grain Mill and bottle fed her. Taught her how to use the litter box etc. Little Bean thought I was her Mama and still, to this day, thought that! She LOVED being held like a baby and was happiest when she was in my arms. I will miss you SO, SO much sweet baby girl. Go now, and be with my MissyKitty, Spikey Kitty and KatyDid Kitty. They will remember and love you always until we meet again dear one..... Oh, this is so difficult. The autopsy (Necropsy) came back tonight and the Vet said it is Neurological to the Bladder and Colon area in the lower abdomen. (A problem I saw in the feral community she was born into...…)
