Aww that's terrible about Chuck Berry. He was such a talented man. He will be missed.
I shall endeavor to do better, and I, as well, wasn't aware that we are used in schools! HOW COOL IS THAT!I need to just post a friendly reminder that this site is family-friendly and is used in schools for educational purposes, so keep that in mind while you are posting.
I heard that it was just one class though - in a business school - called, "what not to do with your Life."

Now just one darn second. Are you implying we should have devoted ourselves to some other animal than cats?

Have you considered a cortisone shot?Sigh, I may be 43 years young but right now I'm feeling very old.
Went to the doctor today. Again. The same arm has tendonitis in a third spot. So right now I hurt from where the neck and shoulder join to about midway down the lower arm.
At least he was able to figure out why all this is happening. Sigh.
He did that today because the shoulder is OWWW, compared to the owww of the elbow. It didn't help much. He said he couldn't inject it directly in because doing so could cause the tendon to rupture, so he put it close and there's a bit of dulling but not much.Have you considered a cortisone shot?
I've never had a lot of luck with steroids. Last year I was put on prednisone three times, I didn't even bother to finish the third course. Someone (non-medical) told me that of course it didn't work, it works on inflammation pain, but what I had was inflammation in the nerves. That's too bad because cortisone should work immediately to alleviate all the pain.
Exactly what I was told by my doctor. I'm on my feet a lot for work as well as being a runner for many, many years and do a lot of speed walking now. I developed tarsal tunnel syndrome, similar to carpal tunnel syndrome but in the tibial nerve of the foot/ankle. My doctor gave me a cortisone injection and it helped immensely. He also told me some different strategies to help it which I now recognize, anything to avoid surgery.
Cortisone injections are variable as to how long they work. Some people have relief, lasting a very long time; others not much relief and not lasting for very long.
I have had cortisone shots=sometimes it takes a few days to weeks to see noticeable results...remember it takes basic tissue to rebuild itself in 7 to 10 days. Hoping you feel results soon. I didn't have luck with them. I had 2 of them in my elbow but they said it was only a 1 time shot or 2 at the most..something about risk of damaging tendons if more than that BUT that was in 2006. So here it is 11 years later-maybe it has changed.
I am such an idiot!!!It takes about 2-3 days before you feel any relief. It also feels worse, because they are injecting fluid into an already tight space. If you are having it done in your shoulder, it is best to go to a specialist who can inject it directly into the area, (muscle, tendon) with ultrasonic guidance. Yes, and ultrasound; otherwise, you can never be certain where the injection will end up.
