Howdy, answer the question about whether you've cooked something, then ask if someone else has ever cooked something you have.

Ever cook frog legs? I have, though it's hard to tell from chicken (honestly). How about you?

Hmm. This is looking like a real barn-burner!

It's okay to say "no" and then suggest something else.

I have cooked frog legs. Didn't care for them.

Have you ever cooked alligator?
Oh, yes. It's good: (a) in gumbo; (b) in buttermilk and grilled; and (c) dusted with spices (like fish) and blackened, with garlic and lemon juice.

Ever cook Italian Salsa bolognaise? Wine, cream, ground pork, so good!

No but I've cooked traditional bolognaise.

Have you ever cooked rabbit cacciatore? Yummy.
Never rabbit, but chicken! Any different in the recipes? (Curious to know.)

Ever cook krill? I just had some with clams in a pasta sauce. Good, plenty of roughage for Mr. Large Intestine . . .

Never cooked Krill but I used to feed it to my fish I had years ago. The rabbit makes for a richer, meatier tasting cacciatore I prefer it to chicken.

Have you ever cooked homemade cat food?

Yes. I've made venison pate, sausage, daube (French style stew), roasted back strap, and more.

Yes
Have you ever cooked ramps?
No, unless they're synonymous with something I know the name of.

Ever cook Javalina? It's the feisty little wild pig of the AZ and northern Mexico desert. It's very lean and dense, and it's great with Indian or other beef curry seasonings and rice. My cousin's husband bagged one a long time ago. Good!

No I haven't but I've seen them here in AZ.

Have you made pickled eggs? They are hard boiled eggs that are pickled for several days with beets.

OMGosh, I love pickled eggs! Yes, I make them. They're an Easter staple and I'll make them for summer family picnics, too. Yum. I make mine a wee bit on the more sour/tart side than sweet.

Have you ever made chocolate cream puffs?

No, and I'm surprised that my mother, being from Irish ancestors didn't either.

Have you ever made borsht?

@Winchester  You probably have since you like the pickled eggs
