I called Kathy about an hour ago and left a message. Hopefully she has antibiotics for them, she usually does. Just waiting on a call back. Also Lil Bit is still growling and hissing at them if they come any where near them. Will she ever get better?

They've been back for 2 days now. I would think Lil Bit would be accepting them by now. The strange smells should be wearing off. My cat accepted her kittens back right away after their surgeries. Lil Bit sure is ornery lately!

Yes she is. The hissing and growling isn't the petty little warnings its and all get out I will hurt you stuff. Teeth all exposed and fur standing. She has changed so much since her surgery.

Was she acting this way towards the kittens before they left for surgery?

Oh, good! So it's just taken some time for her to realize they are her kittens again.

Will you be getting the antibiotic today for the kittens? How are they doing?

I still can't get a hold of Kathy. Smokey vomited a few times this morning yellow foamy bile. I don't know what to do. Lil Bit was playing and chasing them, it was so good to see. She seems to be turning in a kitten again, she is just a little over a year old. Then if they get out of line she is quick to show she is still mommy.

Smokey needs pedialyte! The vomiting is not good. He needs to see a vet. He's caught something and I'm sure it's contagious.

How are the others?

This is Cleo's incision site. I don't know if you can tell there is a hard bump there and if you touch she let's you know fast it hurts. Sweet Pea's looks better but hot to the touch. I will keep calling her. It may take a while she is so busy. But they need help soon.

Oh dear! They both sound infected. They need antibiotics asap!

None of this is good. Isn't there someone at the shelter?

What is the mark? I assumed it's the tattoo they put on to mark a kitten as fixed.

Cleo's is a hard mass feeling. The black you see is the dark green stitch.

It doesn't have a actual physical address it is a group of volunteer fosters and Kathy is the director of everything. Besides doing that she also works. So sometimes it takes a while to get a hold of her.

The soonest the office can get them in is Monday evening. I will do the little steam baths until then.

Obviously the adoption fair is off for them tomorrow, right?

The steam will help in the meantime. How many have it?

Keep an eye on those incisions. Use warm compresses if they seem infected until they can be seen.

I wish they had Saturday morning hours! [emoji]128528[/emoji]

This break at least gives you an opportunity to ensure they are well, and an extra week with their mom and each other. [emoji]10084[/emoji]️
