Dark roast black this morning but visited our daughter in the city and stopped for a latte with steamed oat milk in the shape of a heart. Unfortunately it's a little hard to see with all the cinnamon on top.

I tried the Ghiardelli hot chocolate that I bought a few weeks ago. Really good, not as super sweet as Swiss Miss!

I got the pumpkin cream cold brew with light ice from Starbucks after M's pediatrician appointment. It's actually really good.

Is Kahlua chocolate? It's pretty good. Drinking 1/4 cup Kahlua liquid creamer, 3TB Hills Bros Vanilla Cappuccino powder, 1Tsp Taster's Choice French Roast Instant Coffee, 1TB Pumpkin Spice Syrup, 1Tsp Cinnamon Plus mix of spices my friend gave me from Pampered Chef, in cup of warm Milk.

No, it's just a coffee liqueur. It's pretty sweet and I think it's used in white Russians. I presume the creamer tries to get the taste without the alcohol.

Kahlua is a coffee liqueur.
Can be added to hot chocolate for a little coffee + alcohol kick.
Also used to make white russian as well as other mixed alcoholic drinks.
Long ago I had a friend who made her own kahlua and gave it away at Christmas.

Kahlua is used in White Russians, Black Russians, Expresso Martinis, and Mudslides, as well as a number of others. The mudslides are absolutely delicious, but kick like a mule. They are essentially an alcoholic milkshake.

Well that explains why I like the Kahlua, since it's not chocolate. Yummy, adding coffee flavor to my coffee. Ha!

Drinking same thing as yesterday, same amounts of everything. I was so busy Monday doing housework that I only had time for one coffee! I will make up for it on Friday at Tim Hortons. Ha!

You guys know how I always prefer a dome lid on my takeout coffee? Well I was fiddling around with my Dunkin cup last weekend, and I notice for the first time that it folds back and snaps into a dome lid! Ha! Now I gotta check out all the cappuccino places and see if all their lids do this! I'm always complaining about the lids, but maybe they are all secretly dome lids underneath that flap thingy! This is gonna be fun research!

Tim Hortons called me. They said they sprayed twice for the flies & put up fly strips. They said we hope this satisfies you & that you will be back to see us again soon! Nice! They are definitely my favorite!

DH and I got our 50% off drinks for Yay Day at Starbucks. I got a flat white w/oat milk and extra cinnamon on top. DH got a pink drink.

I'm at a cafe on the Rez. $1 for a small vanilla cappuccino. It has a dome lid. Yay! Nice clean booths to sit in.

Stroller strides got canceled, so I splurged at Starbucks after dropping J off at PDO. I got the apple crisp macchiato and the pumpkin cream cheese muffin.

I'm sipping on my 2nd mocha of the day. I may regret it tonight, if I have trouble getting to sleep, but right now it's heavenly.
