Cat Proof Fencing

I was told that if you install angled fencing (towards the interior) that a cat can't or won't try to jump the fence.

I guess if you install the 8" PVC pipe around the inside perimeter of your fence, it could stop kitty from jumping over.

That won't stop them from jumping, but, the theory there is they would have to hang upside down to climb the angle, and they won't do that.
And yes, that works.
To keep cats from going up trees, a common practice is to wrap a section of the tree with sheet metal or plastic. Up high enough that they can't jump past it. That does work.
Which is where I got the idea of sheeting at the top of a fence.
