Please help
My 14 year old cat has prolapsed his rectum 16 times
He had another stitch put in on the 24th November but I'm, worried the stitch is too tight as he can't poo right
His bum sticks out and was told it's abnormal due to so many surgeries, the stitch is kept in otherwise he will prolapse again
I took him back to the vets 2 days ago as he's only manage to poop one little bit. He's eating OK. I'm. Really worried as its nearly Christmas and only emergency vets will be open. It's cost me a fortune
What will happen if he can't poo properly
I love him to bits vet said call us back if he continues to only poop tiny bits
How long shall I wait
He's had enough surgery too
I was told if he prolapsed again they'd do a colopexy as a last resort but it's not without risk
I. Don't want to lose him. I've lost 2 cats this year
Any advice
Not sure why he keeps doing it, was jusr told straining due to diahrhea
