So recently I started feeding my cat Royal Canin sensitive stomach wet food. He gobbled it down for about a month.

Now all of a sudden he only prefers the dry version of the food.

So I have been mixing the wet and dry together.

Just wondering if anyone else had a cat all of a sudden not want wet food?

It seems crazy because I think the wet would have more flavor.

I would but am afraid to. We just got diarrhea under control by switching to Royal Canin sensitive stomach and the only other flavor is salmon and he didn't like that. Or he could just be being a bratty 7 month old kitten lol

Probably not, kittens that age aren't necessarily typically picky, and have voracious appetites, as they should to fuel all that growth :)

Can your vet suggest another wet food?

Would there be something in this with similar ingredients to your current canin?

Maybe he's just bored of the same wet food every day. My Hima is like that. To give an idea, she's been eating the same Acana dry food every day for about 8 months now and she still eats it. With wet food her longest with the same food was 3 months and that was only when she got it one can a day in two meals.

I would try a different wet food if I were you.

Yes, do try a variety of brands and flavors as suggested above. Wet food is much better for cats.

Cats are often difficult to feed, and we just have to discover which ones they like best. :)
