Hey All,
I am completely heartbroken because my cat was diagnosed with FIP.
He's only 5 months old.
Have had one vet look at this
Symptoms:
No fever
Fluid in the abdomen and chest
a bit of a raspy breath sometimes
Does not eat as much as his food as before but eats the dogs food
Fast breathing at times
Lethargic - was very active 2 weeks ago now is not
The vet told us that we should euthanize our Kitten. I'm not sure what to do, or if I should get a second diagnosis. Should we take the fluid out of his chest at the animal ER?
Please help.
