Wow! No wonder hes still acting like he wasnt nuetered! Well, the spraying has stopped and it was 3-4 times a DAY but hes still cat calling at our bedroom door where Molly (our 7 yr old) is in heat. Trying to literally tear through the door.(sigh) 4 weeks.....
Awww poor kitty!  He just wants nookie.  Maybe a stuffed animal will suffice? Since he can't get the real thing.

Have you decided if you'll go ahead with a spay for the females? This all sounds so stressful! For you and kitties.

You really will reduce their chances of mammary cancer enormously by spaying, and constantly going in and out of heat takes its toll on them as well.  I realize it's expensive, but with the boys neutered, you could save up for it one at a time, without the worst of the pressure.

She'll be out of heat within a week though. He should calm down when she does. Not a fun time though! [emoji]128533[/emoji]
LOL...no it sure isnt! Our carpet in front of our bedroom door has certainly paid the price as well!! :lol3:

Yes i know and I want so badly to have the girls done but as of right now, with Dora needing to go to a specialist for her deformity we are just going to have to wait! Either that or hopefully I can find a program that offers free spay/neutering or a discount at least. Im setting up a GofundMe for Dora as we speak. I want so desperatly to have the money to do whatever I want or they need for our cats. Like those houses where people build cat tunnels and shelves all through their homes and outdoor catios, plus enough money to open a rescue!! If I ever come into money.....Ah...dreams :sun:

As soon as we can! Right now we have to focus on emergencies first. Dora has to be seen by an Internal Medicine Specialist. Im setting up a GofundMe as we speak. Honestly should have BEEN done but I have VERY little help with the kittens now :sigh: So, Im feeding the 8 kittens every 5 hours round the clock, caring for our 4 adult cats, our bird, 5 stray cats and the house (which I have OCD bad) pretty much all by myself. Jess will help with one or on a good day two feedings so I can get some MUCH NEEDED rest!! Aaaanywaay.... I will be spaying them just as soon as possible!!!

Hey everyone,
Ive got a favor to ask. As most of you already know Im working on a GoFundMe for Dora. (Yes I know, this should have already been done but the last couple weeks Ive had very little to no help with feeding the kittens or taking care of anything else really.) My favor is this, when you set up the GoFundMe, you give info about the subject (In this case Theodora) I have written it out but its all in one loooong paragraph. Its interesting enough to keep the readers attention but its just in horrible form and I need help fixing it. If anyone would be willing to structure it for me that would be AMAZING!!!!! Depending on if anyone agrees to help, ill post it on here. (After all, it is related to the forum topic) Thank you all!!

PM really would be best, or you'll have the entire Cat Site chiming in with their suggestions, and that will only confuse you, because half of them will contradict the other half, and EITHER would be fine!  Go PM!

How much do you owe on your electric bill? Have you tried a social services organization in your area? Sometimes they can help with some of your issues. You may want to call around.

It's good to hear from you! I was worried.

I'm sorry to hear what you're going through. Please do tell us how expensive the bill is.

My other concern is that the cats really need to be spayed and neutered now... Otherwise, you are rapidly approaching the risk of more kittens. Are there any foster networks in your area that you could work with?

Yes we know!! They're already showing "signs" we have 4 males to neuter. They're 4 1/2 months old. The electric bill is through AEP and it's 1,500! We've tried EVERYTHING! We even tried saying me and Jess separated and to put it in my name and we thought it worked. Until this morning. A woman called me and was very nasty with me and said that he'd have to take care of his bill before they'll help me at all! We asked our landlady if we put it in one of our coworkers name and she said no. She wouldn't change the lease for that. Right now I have 3 screaming at this door to get out but I can't let them! This room is only big enough for this bed and a dresser or two and they're hoaders So there's a huge gun cabinet (yes with guns in it and no door) a vanity, a huge trunk, two stands and a big vanity. Then a pile in the corner that we can't even get around. There's me and 10 cats in here. Lola (momma kitty) locked in another bedroom with probably 30 bags of more junk, and only a tiny amount of floor space because she's viciously attacking all her babies and siblings. Then Molly our 8 year old and our bird in a tiny half bathroom. We've been like this almost a week now, plus his drunk father screaming and yelling at us and his mom scaring these cats to death. Roo won't even come out from under the bed. It's cruel at this point! Yes their fed well, loved beyond belief but this is no life for them! We can come up with a few hundred of the bill but that's all. My daughter gave $25 and my Aunt gave $50 so far. I have posted the link all over my animal lovers Google+ circles and a bunch have +1 it but no more donations. I just don't know what to do. We have NOBODY to give a good home to even ONE and we've tried! I'm just sick over this!! Thank you all for helping me get it posted correctly too because my mobile site isn't working right. I sure hope we can make the money. It's their only hope! And your right, if we don't get these boys neutered were going to have bigger issues! (Sigh) Please pray for our babies!!! Thank you all again for always being right here for these babies!!

I would honestly start calling every facility on this list:

http://spaywv.org/clinic-find/

They will have different prices and some may be free.  I would also ask each one if they know of a no-kill shelter or sanctuary that could help you with rehoming.  Is there a Petco near you?  They often work with shelters.

It may help if you can post a photo of the bill to the gofundme, with any address details etc blacked out.  Did they try to alert you to the bill at all before trying to collect?
