    Traumatic response

I don’t know but I would at this point try CBD treats or ask the vet for a light sedative for him for a couple of weeks or months. Just to get him to realize that he can relax at home. I would look into and pay a mobile vet to come see him at home (and give him a sedative before the vet visit.)...

    Get OFF!

Mine gets tissue paper and assorted small toys to play with in his box.plus he gets a seasonal Cat house scratcher. I change out the box/tub/jumbo bag every month. if they used to be outside then a catio of an hour outside everyday in a harness is probably your best bet.

    Get OFF!

Mental stimulation helps so much! If my problem child doesn’t get at least an hour a day outside he is so naughty! He gets into things he shouldn’t & is destructive. If he gets his outside time he is a perfect angel. I would also try a few of those motion activated things that blow s harmless...

For pretty cheap you can have your favorite picture printed on a canvas frame for $40-$50 at many places like. Costco or Target or Walmart etc.

Is Getting A Second Cat For "Company" Really A Good Idea?

Get a kitten 3 months old that is the same gender as your resident cat. Match the kitten’s activity level to around what your cat was at that age. my failed pairing was my passive calm cuddle bug ….. then I adopted Dante a extra hyper insecure bully. They were more frenemies then bff. They both...

    Removing the cone of shame

Maybe something like soft paws or those rubber claw tips the vet glues on would help?

    Glow in the dark collar/tag

Do glow in the dark collars work? I’m thinking of buying my mom’s indoor/outdoor cat one so he shows up better. He currently has reflective collars, I bought him a multipack. No I do not live with her, I have zero say about him roaming the neighborhood. He is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated &...

    Pooping near the box

The lid dividers are there because he likes to climb from one box, over the side to another box and steps in wet litter as he does it. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

    Unleashed outdoor walks

I vote train him to wear a harness. & a leash. My hyper boy Jackie runs, climbs trees and naps in his harness.I gave him a 22 foot lead leash so he can have independence but I know he is safe. He also always gets treats when he comes inside. On fair weather days he gets 6 hours of the sliding...

    Introduction to a new kitten

That was why I recommended the cardboard divider in case of a fight or a prefight stare off. That state is cat speak for “I’m going to kick your a**” So if a stare down starts, block the line of sight…. then remove one cat.

Trimming Big Boy without getting clipped

I vote take him to the groomers and have them give him a lion cut or everything but his head gets cute to 1/4 or 1/2 inch long. Have the groomer clip his claws while you are at it,
