My neighbor found a kitten that looks about 3 weeks old. No pet stores open and no kitten formula. I do have kmr for puppies though. Until a store opens (7-8 hours) what’s the best thing to use as a milk replacement?
I recently lost a kitty that I rescued to FIP and have 3 other cats in my house. Does anybody know around how much it can cost to have a cat tested to see if they have coronavirus?
She hasn't shown any symptoms or anything to be concerned about so no vet visit yet. I dont think there's a test to confirm if a cat has it but this is the first time I've gone through a kitty having FIP so I'm still trying to learn about it.
Just wanted to give an update on Peanut. We decided she's apart of our family permanently:catlove:. Shes doing great and her spay incision is completely healed. I still have her separated though.
I mentioned what I thought was her sister earlier in the thread but it turns out it was her...
1) 1 female spayed & 1 male neutered
2) female was feral & male was a stray (both became house cats after being fixed)
3) low cost vet
4) city (population- 110,000)
5) California
He most likely had FIP. The wet form. His last 24 hours were horrible. He passed away in my arms at the vet . We named him Bernard Tod. Couldn't decide on one name so we gave him two names.
The vet who neutered him is no help at all. He hasn't been sneezing at all and no nasal discharge. I did noticed he had little dark colored crust/boogers in the corner of his eyes though.
Not sure its my phone or the site but when I try to type its lagging(best way I can describe it). It's taking 20× longer than normal to type so it may take longer for me to reply.
So it seemed like his breathing was improving the last few days up until an hour ago. So I tried to see if taking...
No the vet just let me know about the incident he had in his carrier and I left. A rescue that helps get cats fixed set up the appointment. I don't like the vet that the rescue uses because of the way he does things. Its like no matter what the kitties condition he still does the surgery.
Yes...
This was the night before he got neutered while I was petting him. When ever you scratch the side of his face or chin he just kinda falls over on your hand and starts purring:catlove:
Thank you guys. Im going to try using a washcloth and water like was suggested.
I haven't seen him bathe himself at all. I think it might have something to do with the breathing issue making it uncomfortable for him.
