    "Pepper" needs a Home immediately!

Thank you all for your concern for Pepper. Thanks to one member who checked with OCAS, it looks like Pepper is no longer there. However, one of her four siblings named Babe, has been returned to the shelter. Hopefully, she will get a second chance, and her next adoption will work out better...

    "Pepper" needs a Home immediately!

No, I didn't know the siblings names. A fellow animal lover sent me Pepper's pictures and the info on her, and asked me to share it. Babe is definitely not Pepper, but there is a resemblance. The good thing is that Pepper is no longer there, and I hope Baby won't be there long either. It sucks...

    "Pepper" needs a Home immediately!

I just checked Animal Services. Pepper is no longer there. Just the one called Baby that you told me about. I an assuming that that is Pepper's sister that had been returned. Pepper did receive a lot of publicity and shares on Facebook and other Sites. Looks like it worked! It would of been...

    "Pepper" needs a Home immediately!

Thank you for checking with OCAS. I have not been able to find out anything more about Pepper since yesterday when I saw her still listed "for up for adoption" on their Site. I was told by others, who have more contact with Animal Services, that one of her four siblings was recently returned to...

    "Pepper" needs a Home immediately!

There is a cat named Pepper who is slated to be put down this coming Tuesday. She has been at the Orange County Animal Services in Orlando, Fl. since December 2, ,2022. Her family passed away so she and her siblings were placed there. She is the only one left. She is as sweet as can be. Healthy...

There is peace at my feral colony.

Thank you all for all of your terrific advice when I was having problems at my cat colony down the street. One kitty was injured with a bad bite on the head that had to be attended to, and the other members of the colony were terrified to come eat at dinnertime. The injured cat has since...

    Feral Colony Stops eating.

I will definitely get the stranger cat neutered as soon as I can. Anything to bring peace back to the colony. On a positive note, all the cats are eating again. I am like a police officer over at the colony. I have the original cats eating in one spot, and the stranger cat in another. When he...

    Feral Colony Stops eating.

Thank you. Your advice was very helpful! This new stranger cat who is chasing away my regulars in the my colony is not neutered. I am willing to get him fixed if it will help the situation. I hate to turn away any cat that is hungry and needs a home. Thanks again for your reply and help, Sue

    Feral Colony Stops eating.

Hi, thanks so much for your concern. We never did find out what attacked the cat that sustained the injuries. It must have happened away from the feeding area. We have noticed that every time this one stranger cat comes to eat with the colony, that some of the cats are very fearful of him and...

    Feral Colony Stops eating.

Thank you very much for the info. I did not know that. The cat that received the bite is back home now from the Vets. Her abscess was drained, and she was given a strong antibiotic. Yes, we do need a camara to find out what kind of predator got her. Thank God it did not kill her. Thanks so...

    Feral Colony Stops eating.

Thank you both for your good advice. I greatly appreciate it. I took the kitty that was the worse about not eating to the Vets a little while. Come to find out she has a bite and an absess on her little head. She is still at the Vets as I write this. The Vet said that the others in the colony...

    Feral Colony Stops eating.

My cat colony who I have been feeding for several years has stopped eating. They sniff and act like the want to eat, but don't. This has gone on for a week now. I suspect a virus or poisoning. Any suggestions from the Forum would be helpful.
