I saw in an article that stainless steel cap litter boxes are all the rage.
Has anyone on here used one? What kind did you get? What has been your experience. Thank you
My 2 yr old cat has been sick for the last few week.
Liver number is 1035.
She is at vet now getting ultrasound.
Am I wrong to hold out hope?
Be up front with me.
Well she has passed three tags she ate off of toys. So this past weekend I went through the house and cut all the tags off toys. We still have diarrhea.
Vet seem to be concerned as long as she's passing things. I'm starting to watch her very carefully though and I noticed that she needs to bite...
Well now we've gone almost 24 hours with not passing anything else. Still have the runs though.
She was actually from a litter of kittens whose mother was killed when she was about a week old. She spent some time with a Foster and then was in a shelter.
So I heard back from the vet. She said that as long as she was passing things and not vomiting to just keep an eye on her. My cat is perky and playful it doesn't seem to be in any pain. She said most things pass within 48 hours of consuming them but it's not unheard of for some things to take...
Also she actually passed a small 2 by 2 ziplock bag yesterday. No pictures of that one.
She's really food aggressive I should mention. In fact she's so food aggressive we can't keep her in the same room with us even for small snack. And yet, so sweet.
I just can't imagine that these items have been in her stomach since July. I just don't even know if that's possible. It's either that or she consumed them in the last few days. I really wish I knew the answer
Hi,
My cat just passed some foreign objects in her litter box. I do not recognize them and I don't know what they are.
I tried to figure out how long they've been in her. We've been battling diarrhea for about 12 weeks now, and I'm wondering whether I could have adopted her with these inside...
Just seems obvious to me that she needs the protein. I was giving her half chicken and half dry. The amount of dry she was getting coordinated with the amount in the bag for her weight, so doesn't that mean she's getting the required nutrition?
Remi is a 5 month old kitten.
We got her from shelter. She had diarrhea.
Treated with metrodiazanole, panacur, albon over course of August.
Still had diarrhea.
Had advanced blood and fecal tests. All negative.
Put on plain chicken and s boulliardi for a week and saw good improvement.
Vet...
So after talking to the vet, she said we had to take the ground chicken away and only feed Remi hypoallergenic food.
Sure enough, we're back at liquid poops and accidents outside the box. Her poops were PERFECT on half chicken, half hydrolyzed food.
Vet says we have to do 8 weeks of being on...
Hi, Long story short.
5 month old kitten
Had diarrhea and loose stool
Treated for worms, giardia
Had advanced fecal and blood tests. All clear.
Now on diet change.
I've been feeding Remi boiled chicken for about 3/4 of diet and the hydrolyzed food for 1/4 for about two weeks. Her stools have...
Initially she had loose stool. Was treated for giardia. When that didn't fix it we treated for coccidia. She's bern on metrodiazanole, panacur, albon, fortiflora, pro pectalin from vet.
We've had blood tests, fecal floats and PCS test. They are all clear.
S boulliardi was helping until I...
Oh no I'm not doing this on purpose! We tried jarrows with MOS and I think it was a little too much for my kitty. So I think her body is detoxing the jarrows.
We are on day 3 of liquidy diarrhea. I was using florastor before and ran out. Thought I could give her the same amount in jarrow's...
