Nice closeup of this lovely dragonfly!
He's pretty cool, eh. I got fairly close to him, but my childhood memories of dragonflies being referred to as darning needles, and that they could "sew your mouth closed" kept me from getting "right in his face".

Hi everyone!

I've been super busy with work the past months and haven't been posting here much in general. Today it's like 100 degrees out so I'm taking the opportunity to catch up on some stuff, including throwing some photos into this thread. Figuring out which ones to choose after such a long period of time is really difficult though!

This is a mish mash of pix over the past few months; some stuff from NYC, a trip to Sanibel recently, flowers from my garden, etc. Most shot with my Olympus PenF (mirrorless) which, I'm getting better at using or, new Moment lenses for my Android phone - which are lots of fun to use. Some macro shots too.

First, a bouquet from my garden recently.

Food shot!

A macro shot of a rose hip

Sunset in NYC

Candid shot on the subway

Sunrise on the beach at Sanibel, Fl

My husband, on the beach at dusk in Sanibel, FL

A gorgeous Sanibel sunset

Shell macro, this is called Shark Eye

Another macro - this is of a coneflower

Another beautiful Sanibel dusk shot

One more candid NYC shot

Sea anemone in the sand - they were everywhere in Sanibel!

Last one, I promise because evenings were so lovely in Sanibel.
