Little male cat i found near a supermarket few months ago, took good care of him, feed him well, took care of him when he was sick etc.

10 days ago he wa gone out of nowhere,i thought someone has taken him.
Last 3 days I saw him 2 times at night, fist he escalated a garage and ran away and second time saw him walking near my house, called his name but he didn't even look at me.
Was soo worried about him past these day,now I don't know what's gooing on with this cat, feel like I wasted my time and mooney for a little pice of trash.

I think someone is taking care of your cat without letting you know...

He wasn't well, you took care of him and that was a wonderful thing. But perhaps now that he is well and unneutered he is back to his old habits and places. If you were to be able to catch him and get him neutered, he may turn back to a homebody.

He does need to be neutered. His hormones are driving him to find a mate, which isn't especially safe or healthy.

Caring for strays and ferals is rarely straightforward, and they will sometimes move on without warning, very often without any trigger that we can see. There may be another male in the area that's driven him out, he may have got spooked in your garden (most likely by something that you have no control over) and so no longer considers it a safe place to be, there may be a female in heat in the area (as others have said) etc etc

It's important to remember, too, that strays and ferals (especially one who've had some positive interactions with humans in the past) can sometimes be far more trusting when sick and injured than they are when they're back to full health. Quite simply, this little guy is feeling healthy and strong again, and no longer feels so dependant on you as a result.

As others have said, it would be far better for him if you're able to catch him (probably using a humane trap) and get him neutered. He'll be much better off neutered, as well as being less likely to stray again or get into fights. It will also stop him being able to father kittens, and so stop him contributing to the ever-growing number of feral and unwanted cats.

Properly adopting a stray requires some real commitment on *your* part...bringing indoors, neuter, vet checkup, inoculations, food, time, play...all in the *cats best interests and well being* ....NOT YOURS. Somehow, you sound as if you were never really ready to commit 100%. Sadly..your "trash" comment tells me all I need to know.

If he is not neutered he is doing what is natural and you shouldn't feel hurt by it. He is cruising for girl cats and you won't fit that need so he will ignore you. His interests are cruise for girl cats and fight other boy cats. When he is done he will likely go back to wanting attention from a human. Get him neutered and he will lose interest in cruising for girls and fighting with the boys. If you get him neutered it doesn't kick in right away it will take a couple months for you to see a change.

"My" cat? How can you possibly provide the cat security while leaving him outdoors, unfixed "living in your garden".

Your whole approach to this adoption is based on your convenience...he's not "your" cat until properly tended to.

True that last part doesn't sound like a person who is fully committed to taking care of a cat

About your last few words, others have said it much better than I could ever do.
When you decide to take care of a stray cat you do if with your heart and in the interest of the cat, not of your wallet!
Time and money should nearly have no meaning in the matter. If time and money are what you care for more then don't even start with.
Many cats look alike, especially at night, so how can you be that sure he was "your" cat?

Could be frustration and a poor choice of words. Mikers seems like they feel insulted by the cat when they shouldn't be. It's a cat not a friend or neighbor that is ignoring them. I think Mikers cares about the cat or they wouldn't be upset. I would appreciate it if Mikers continues to care for the cat as it is likely to return to their place. I am not sure where they live but winter is right around the corner and the cat will need a steady source of food if it has to go through a cold winter. I would prefer the cat gets neutered but it is far more important to me the cat doesn't starve to death and has a steady source of food and someone to look after it.

M Mikers - Please get the cat neutered but more importantly don't turn your back on it.

My cat Demi did that. He escaped and was playing with the neighbor's cats. He looked the other way and pretended he didn't even know me! He was just having fun and didn't want to come in. He couldn't resist kibble though, and I grabbed him when he was eating. If your cat has a favorite food, maybe you can lure him back. Don't take it personally, cats just really love to be outside having fun.

He has his cat house and we have big walls around the house,he was safe, and i don't think he is a stray cat, most of the stray cats hide, this cat was so friendly from the first time i saw him he was meowing and rolling himself on the floor,
rubbing his head against my leg.
Well getting a pet wasn't planned,i left to buy something and came back with a pet,and calling him little trash was because i was sad to see him leave.Anyway almost 2 weeks since he is gone, slim chances for him to come back, hope he will or atleast hope he is fine, maybe wasn't even him since yellow cats are common.

There is a good chance he will come back. Plenty of people have had cats return after several weeks. Keep your eyes open and God bless you for caring about him. You did a lot more than most people would do when you rescued it from the supermarket. If you are not 100% sure the cat is still around your house, you could check around the supermarket as the cat may have returned to that place. And you could go to your local animal shelter (Humane Society, etc) as someone may have taken it there. I hope your little buddy returns because it seems like you miss him a lot.

It's very possible that the cat you last saw was a different cat. Cats will breed with their siblings and offspring, so you can have a community of cats who all look extremely similar. Mistaking a new cat for a familiar one has happened to my neighbors and I a few times, and we are very experienced in caring for strays and ferals on our block. I am thinking this is exactly what happened in your case. Your first Kitty may still be out roaming and may still return, or perhaps someone else is taking care of him. If you have a picture of him, you can show it to your neighbors and ask if anyone has seen him. Trapping and neutering a feral Tom can take several months or even a few years if he is trap savvy. Continue to care for him and you will know when the time is right to try to catch him, and if he has allowed you to pet and handle him in the past, it can be as easy as scooping him into a pet carrier. Also, most adult feral cats do not adjust well to living indoors only, so once you do get him neutered you can continue to care for him outdoors by providing food and a warm shelter for him. It is not at all unkind to allow an adult feral cat, if he is feral and not a stray, to continue to live his life lutdoors if that is how he chooses to live his life. It can be very frustrating and even painful taking care of a feral cat, especially when that cat disappears for a time. Don't take offense if some folks here take offense at your trash comment. Obviously you care a good deal about him or you wouldn't be posting here. I hope your kitty returns, and even if he doesn't, maybe you could help this new little kitty?

Found him on animal adoption site, someone has found him 3 days ago, talked to that lady and will get him back tomorrow.
He is 6-7km away from me,in a big city, there is no way he could go there by himself(i think someone wanted him gone).Since i can't take him inside,i'm worried he will go missing again, maybe i should let them keep him and maybe someone that can keep him inside will adopt him.

If you plan on keeping him, you should take him to a vet to get neutered, de-wormed, flea treatment, and get him microchipped so if he goes missing again he can be identified if he ends up in a shelter or vet's office. Talk to your neighbors and let them know that this cat belongs to you. Provide him with a pet house, preferably one with an outdoor heating pad he can use during the cold winter months, preferably on your porch. Be committed to providing him with food and water each day. The ideal solution would be for you to take him into your house. Is there a reason why this is not possible? Even if you kept him as an indoor and outdoor cat, taking him in at night, he would have a longer and safer life. Your other option would be to find him a home where someone can keep him indoors. If you release him back outside without doing any of these things, chances are someone can grab him again and release him somewhere different, and you may not find him again. Does the woman who has him now find homes for stray cats? Could she adopt him or find someone to adopt him? Is she part of a shelter program? I am glad that you found him. You cared enough to keep looking for him. I pray that you have guidance in making the right decisions about how to care for him.
