Breeder that doesn't have a long wait for kittens?

Most breeders at this time do have longer waiting lists than they usually would. A lot of people during the past year have had the same idea that it was an ideal time to get a kitten while they were working from home. I've had hundreds of people contacting me... You can keep trying different...

    Ragdoll Coloring

He's very cute! He appears to be blue point in color. Lilac point would be lighter in general, but the easiest way to tell is by looking at the nose leather. Blue point cats have slate blue nose leather like your kitten, lilac points have lighter nose leather that has a more pinkish /...

What color will my kitten be?

She's lovely! She appears to be blue (gray) to me in these pictures. Ghost stripes are commonly seen on solid colored kittens and mostly fade with age.

    Scottish fold unfold?

I have heard of this happening sometimes, but I am not a Scottish Fold breeder so I don't have any advice for you about how to breed tighter folds, sorry! If you happen to have any straight eared kittens, however, you can show them in both CFA and TICA, and you don't have to worry about the...

Breeding an American Short Hair with a Persian

Although American Shorthairs were once used with Persians to create the first Exotic Shorthairs, this is not done any more. At this time, the Exotic is a shorthaired Persian, with different physical type from the American Shorthair. What registry are you working in? In CFA, the only allowed...

    What color are these kittens?

Their coats are coming in! They appear to be solid blue kittens with ghost markings in this picture. Ghost markings can be fairly prominent in young blue kittens, especially when they have a classic ghost pattern. Here is an example of two of my kittens, you can see the markings on the kitten...

    What color are these kittens?

Here's an example of sepia kittens ("Burmese" point), the one in front is a blue. Even sepia is typically a little higher contrast than these kittens, unless they are more contrasty than they appear in the pictures.

    What color are these kittens?

Here's a four week old blue kitten for example, you can see how the paws look slightly darker than the body because of how the kitten's coat is developing. Coat comes in on the paws, while the coat on the body is still mostly undercoat. If I had time to look through all my pictures, I could...

    What color are these kittens?

Lilac points would be much lighter all over, with pinkish nose leather, and would have a nearly white body color at this age.

    What color are these kittens?

They would be much lighter in the body if they were colorpoint kittens, especially at this age. They definitely aren't lynx points as they would have very different looking markings... the tabby markings here are ghost markings. They could possibly be sepia (Burmese point), but my best guess...

Posting pics of my 2 mth kittens.

They are very cute! The female is tortoiseshell, and the male appears to be solid black. Black cats often appear slightly brownish or grayish, especially when they are kittens.

What kind of cat/s does my kitten resemble?

He's gorgeous! He also looks very well cared for, with a lovely shiny coat. I would describe Loki as a black and white domestic longhair. Cats vary in size and growth rate, so it's hard to say what his adult size will be based on his current weight, but 10 lbs is within normal range for his...

    Calico or tortoiseshell?

Your kitty is so adorable! I love her face markings :redheartpump: I would describe her as a tortie and white domestic shorthair. Usually, "calico" is used to refer to a cat with more white, and large distinct patches of black and red tabby. The following image is from the messybeast web...
