My 2mth kittens of the same litter.
The male is all dark. Female is mix brown.
Is the mix brown female considered torqoise?
The dark brown I have hard time making him sit still.

They are very cute!

The female is tortoiseshell, and the male appears to be solid black. Black cats often appear slightly brownish or grayish, especially when they are kittens.

I am not sure, I think short haired as they tend to be fluffier when kittens. Can we get a better photo of the tails? That is usually a good clue.

Yes, I think the boy may be fluffy and the girl not. I saw a picture you posted on another thread and he also looks a bit fluffy around the head and has tips on his ears.
Do you know anything about the parents?

The mother is a tortoiseshell ragamuffin Cross while the dad is ginger domestic short hair.
