We got through one 35 lb box of Tidy Cat about every month, month and half? Kit's an only cat and the box gets a total dump about every 3-4 wks. Scooped once a day (when the kids remember, lol) and we top off as we go. We use a covered jumbo size box, leftover from Buddy and Bella's days.

SHe has: cardboard, carpet, and sisel rope scratchers. The post that is next to the table has a square carpet base and a 2 fit high post that is half carpet and half sisel rope. She has a slanted corrigated cardboard and a flat corrigated cardboard scratcher as well. Hmm...daughter just...

I am so very glad to have found this thread today. It is refreshing to read a civilized conversation regarding the low budget canned food. I have torn my hair out trying to find a food that Kit will consistently eat. She will love xyz this week, and walk away from it next week; you name it...

I do this. If there's can of food she walks away from without even tasting, I put some of the FD in there an she always comes back. I think you're fine with doing that.

I've tried it with Kit -- she doesn't care for it. She'll it if I put some freeze dried raw sprinkled on top though.

My Kit is 11 mos old now. We always meant to get her a playmate, but real life and illnesses etc. got in the way. A co-worker is possibly looking to re-home two cats the same age as my Kit. These two are brother/sister siblings, not related to my girl at all. They are fixed, they're up to...

LisaHE, can you tell me exactly what recipe you use? Did I read that you buy your meats from the grocery story? (there's such conflicting information out there).  I am off to read Dr. Pierson's site again, I read it a long time ago, but need a refresher.  I SO want to start my Kit on this type...
