Jcatbird Jcatbird I am glad you got a laugh at that silly kitty. Whistle is doing a great job keeping the reception going. Love the Smile post-adorable as always. My.mind was blown by the you tube video of those people communicating through whistles. A whistle language! Wow, my mind is blown. 🤯 I am sure your Whistle has multiple ways of communicating. Clever kitty. Well take care.:purr:

Wishing everyone here in the US a blessed Veteran's Day tomorrow. Have a great weekend everyone.. Take care. . 🙂

Who wants some old clear, hard rocks when you can have a soft, warm, sweet, loving, playful, silly, friendly, empathetic, adorable, gorgeous CAT???*:lovecat3:
Although...you could sell those hard old rocks and buy Soft-and-Warm one of these modular thingies from Hollywood Kitty Company!

There are LOTS of modules. Just for fun, I went through and designed one for Her Nibs. It would cost nearly $5000, and the shipping would be almost that much. She'll just have to do without.

Awww, Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 I must admit I'm tearing up a bit at that. THINK of the fun! And right you are, of course. So send hard old clear rocks, y'all. They'll be put to excellent use. :agree:

Well, it's that time of year again. When I looked out the window to see if Grumpy had appeared for breakfast, it was raining. The next time I looked out, it was snowing, and not just a little, either. Yay.
We had our first a couple of weeks ago. Not too much though.

N NY cat man Sooo, how is Grumpy? --.. .. I mean the cat
He has been eating more- putting on weight for winter, most likely. He gets two cans of wet food a day, plus he gets the dry, and we have to fill that dish twice a day. The heated water dish is out, and there is fresh straw in his house. He gets very talkative if his food is not ready when he is. We put it out at first light and take it back in at sunset. Too many raccoons and skunks, otherwise.

rubysmama rubysmama Wishing Ruby a Happy Gotcha day. Spoil her rotten. 😉 What a cutie! :happycat:
CatladyJan CatladyJan I feed a bunch. Lately they have been hunting, but mostly they go somewhere quiet to get some shut eye. There is a semi forested area surrounding the RR near me and I see them go there. They mostly hang behind bushes to get 40 winks and get a break from the other kitties. There are shelters around if they want to use them. It is just starting to get cold around here-no snow yet.

Well have a great week everyone. Take care. :redheartpump:

You know how I am always saying that I believe we should trust our little inner voice and you did mention that you were having second thoughts. I think Graham would have been safe but I also think the timing just was not quite right for some reason. When it is right, I think you will know. For now, Graham is in the best place a cat could be. With you. :petcat:
I think so too. I do not want to miss yet the nags and demands even in the middle of the night. Like last night I was about to close my eyes, and there was Graham strutting from the kitchen with very loud meows until she got to the bed, placed her nose just a hair away from mine, and belted out the loudest meow I ever heard.

When I asked loudly and filled with exasperation, "Jesus Graham! What is it again this time?!!"

She just ran away as if nothing happened.
LOL.

Oh I hope it got better! I've had all Pfizer and not terribly bad.
Days after my 2nd booster, the fever and chills are gone, but I have been itching all over, as in really itching. I could not even sleep well at night. Today I will drop by the clinic and ask my doctor. I am not sure if this is a side effect by the booster, or something else. But I have had Moderna since 1st shot, so I am puzzled why I am having these symptoms.

She's being super camera shy, so not a lot of new pics to post, but today is Ruby's 9th Gotcha Day.
Happy Gotcha Day, Ruby! Such a pretty one you are!

tabbytom tabbytom strider rose strider rose and rubysmama rubysmama I am so glad that the signal got through!!I can always count on the kitties! Lol

tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I do know of the “Throat singers”! Their throats are amazing instruments. If others have not heard them, there are some examples on YouTube. Floofescent highly recommends them!

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote Checking in on you too.:hugs:

pearl99 pearl99 Glad to see you here and that you understand the ifs and butts of being fur behind. ;) :) Lol

rubysmama rubysmama Feeling better now? Hope so!
Ruby! Happy Gotcha day. Sorry I am late to the party! :dunce::woo: :redheartpump::redcat:
Great day !

neely neely Carleton knows the language. Bilingual. I bet Carleton can do the throat dinging too! Can you imagine if all the kitties here got together and did the throat singing? Wow!

strider rose strider rose I hope you are feeling okay after your booster! How are you feeling?

Christmas cards are such a sweet offer! Yes!

Whenallhellbreakslose Whenallhellbreakslose I thought the Whistle language was amazing too. Most of the cats here were curious. Whistle just looked at me and then whistled. Lol;)

N NY cat man I know you are thrilled about the snow! (Not) However, I do know that Grumpy will be very well provided for in all that. He doesn’t even need to talk. Lol I love his house. Move over Grumpy. Share? I guess it’s time to think warm thoughts and send them your way! BTW, did that bathroom get finished? Next project looming? Ummm.Snow means no way to get building supplies! Yay?;)

Furballsmom Furballsmom I think the kind of snow north of us would make me Brrrrrr! Lol I can’t even imagine the kind of cold there. It is unseasonably cold here this year! Yikes!🥶 I can say that I haven’t seen any skunks though. They are cute but have the ability to make me grumpy. Lolololololol

rubysmama rubysmama Awww! The pictures of Ruby are great! She is looking right in the camera! 9th? She look so young! I guess she has been drinking from the Fountain of Youth. Makes sense. You know the hooman that searched for it couldn’t find it but it was discovered by Pounce de Lion! Ruby must be related and knows the secret.

CatladyJan CatladyJan Where do they go during the day? Well, cats are masters at going unseen. They can go up high and watch below or above, they can go stalking bugs in the bushes or even go under things to observe the world. The cats here were always active outside early morning and then late at night. In between they just observed unless something tasty or friendly came along. Now that the kitties are inside, it is about the same pattern except they now have the calories for plain old play time. Lol Generally it is, Morning ,breakfast and play, interacting with others, break time and a light lunch , some world watching, grooming and then supper, then sleep and late at night some more toy/prey stalking or interacting with others. In between they often vanish up high or down low. Even when they are right nearby they can make themselves vanish.:chessirecat: If you really want to find him, there are some tips for doing that. I have had cats hide on the roof before! They are great at hunting or relaxing in the smallest spot and the largest. Kitties!

@lari:heartshape:

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote Oh my! I just saw your post about the itching! Maybe it is just some kind of seasonal allergy? I wonder if Graham knew and came to discuss it with you. Such a smart kitty! Cats do these things. We may be their guardians but they are ours. Feel better!:alright:
I did laugh at your description of Graham being nose to nose. Lol
