Went to visit our son and daughter in law...today is his birthday!I have to say her hair is growing in beautifully and it's curly!I love it but she is not amused:)We took them out to eat and everyone wanted BBQ so that's what we did.It was a place they're familiar with and I will say it was yummy...and you had 6 different sauces to choose from at your table.Really good!Great day!

I'm glad you had such a great day!! :) BBQ places are usually a great choice. There's a little place about 15 minutes from here in a very tiny town that's locally famous for their BBQ, I always forget about them but now I might have to pay them a visit.

Hamburgers and fresh fries from the NFG. A bit of coleslaw on the side. Freshly made burger buns.

At Sam's Club, we found (but did not buy) Snickers Seasoning. They say it's good for shaking over ice cream, into milkshakes, and the like. There is also Cinnamon Toast Crunch Seasoning and Twix Seasoning. It doesn't really interest me all that much, but thought I'd mention it, in case it trips somebody's trigger.

Dear Richard thinks the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Seasoning might be good on Snickerdoodles. And now he has me thinking....

I did, however, buy Kinders Prime Steak Seasoning with Black Garlic and Truffle. It seemed intriguing to me and I'm always looking for seasonings. It's an addiction. I love making my own seasonings, too. I'm going to try this in meatloaf.

Himself had an appointment with the dentist this afternoon. Two fillings. So something easy to chew for dinner, just in case his mouth was tender. (It wasn't.)

I made a cheese sauce - half bouillon, half milk, thickened with butter and flour, American cheese melted in, added cubed ham, green peas, served over elbow macaroni.

Apple blitz kuchen with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
