Michele got me a new tablet, and while it is okay, it's not as convenient as the old one, and comes preloaded with apps that I will never use, but at least I can post pictures again- badly, for now anyway. I'm too old to be learning this new-fangled stuff. Anyway, here's Grumpy, taking a siesta in the tomato garden.

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 Banjo knows a Prince when she sees one. Even in Frog’s clothing. Your Grandmother was very wise.

Lari Lari Were you thinking that is a rose slug? I am not sure since I can’t tell size but possible. That would not be a true slug though. They are sawflies in the making. A true slug looks like a snail without a shell.

I thought so!

Happy belated birthday. :hugs:

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote I am so sorry the AC went out! I hope it is fixed now!

Bourbon complained? Are you sure Bourbon isn’t driving your car in that first photo?? Very suspicious to me. Was the AC simply clogged with a cat toy because this sounds a lot like something Banjo would plan. ;)
I know some critters are not favorites for everyone. I can tell you that I don’t think that’s really a frog. Lol It’s a cat Prince in disguise. I keep telling Banjo to stop kissing it because every time she dies, I see another cat!
Or…. Maybe a frog in kitty clothing?

Margot Lane Margot Lane They have apps for everything now! Cyclops huh? Wow. That must be an awesome moth!

rubysmama rubysmama I’m glad you smiled. Me too! Lol
I never get tired a daylily pictures or any other flower. That’s beautiful! I actually spotted one lone daylily in the garden today but was on the run and missed getting a picture. Not any special one but still pretty. A little color in Sarah’s garden. Finally! Lol

N NY cat man It was a very good day! Lots of happiness that day!
New tablet? Yay! It takes time to adjust but before you know it, you’ll be used to it. I know they load everything with apps I never use. I just want what I need and enjoy. Lol I think Grumpy got it off to a great start. :yess:

tabbytom tabbytom I love the birthday banner!

neely neely I’m so glad you liked the pictures and captions. It always amazes me when I watch those two together. When I saw that heart shape it truly was awesome! We have lots of frogs here but that one is THE one with Banjo’s heart.

strider rose strider rose The hugs will be warm and wonderful. I know Whistle will be the first in line. Lol

I had fixed plates for the kitties but Banjo wanted something a little more exotic.

Sometimes we just don’t need captions because the photo says it all. At least she is willing to try new things! She ate cat food.

Jcatbird Jcatbird yes, the a/c was fixed at around 9pm. We moved from the car to the kitchen as I remembered we have a portable a/c. So I asked my hubby to take it out from the storage and turn it on. The 4 of us, plus the budgies huddled together in that tiny kitchen. LOL.

I am so glad to see Banjo up and about :) Makes us happy to see our kitties happy and healthy. Loving all the pictures. Thanks for the smile posts :)

Hopefully that one lone day lily wasn't it for the season. Fingers crossed there's more buds to bloom.

Here's another from my garden. You can't tell in the picture, but it's a smaller than usual sized flower. So it's appropriately named "Little Grapette".

I did! Apparently I share it with N NY cat man 's anniversary. He got married before I was born, though.

Nature experts, is this a caterpillar (vs a slug). If so, what kind? I saw it yesterday.

That, my Darlin', is a caterpillar...or as Spawn 1 would have said, about 40 years ago, "a catterpitter." A slug is basically a nudist snail.

I thought caterpillar right away! My husband was the one who suggested possibly slug because it was big, but I think Margot Lane Margot Lane got it with the Polyphemus moth caterpillar. I'd never seen one before so it was cool.

Last year, the first for the new daylilies, there were only a couple of blooms on 3 of the plants, and none on the 4th. It's a whole 'nother story this year, with a dozen or more buds on each one, plus each plant has multiplied, so there are even more. I just wish that there was room for more varieties of them.

Maria Bayote Maria Bayote I am so glad you thought of that portable AC! I imagine it was cramped but that was better than having to stay in the car. Thank goodness it’s all fixed now.
Yes. I am happy to see happy cats too. Banjo is finally playing again! Yay! I’m always grateful to have smile posts to share and that others get a smile from them too. Multiplying smiles? Lol

rubysmama rubysmama Whoa! That’s an amazing color for a daylily! For any flower! Grapette fits. Lol wow!
It is such a relief to see Banjo playing again. I can see the wheels turning in that kitty brain. Lololololololololololololol She can have my credit card if it makes her happy. Don’t tell her that though. ;) I think she prefers to sneak it out of my hiding places. I expect an unexpected order again any day now.

tabbytom tabbytom They really are nice flower pictures. Flower power? Lol

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 Nudist snail!:flail:Do they have nudist snail colonies?

Lari Lari It is a cool caterpillar! I love seeing all the different types out there. It always amazes me that they turn into moths and butterflies!

N NY cat man That’s good to hear. Maybe next year I will have many more bids than this year. I hope the plants had enough stored energy after being cut back to recover. Better to have only a flower now and have the plants gain more energy for next time. For now I am enjoying the other gardens posted here. That works!:)

I will never get tired of watching the sky here.I was scrambling to move a shipment of cat food inside and then scrambling to get broken cans back out to the road to be shipped back and each time, even in the heat and frustration of moving 360 cans of cat food with extra protein (ants. Lol Maybe I should have saved it for Froggie? ) I found myself stopping to watch the sky. How very beautiful! The clouds and colors shited
Peace for sure.

Yea, lovely sky indeed! And yes, ✌ froggy

Do you have a trolley to move the cartons of food inside? Moving 360 cans is no joke! Broken cans? Geez..........how do they handle these things? They threw them on the ground knowing that they are quite heavy and could possibly burst the cans and they still chuck it down on the ground? Though they should know better than that!

It's such a wastage to have them returned and on top of that, it's wasting time and resources.

Move almost finally completed. We haven't had time to mow the back yard at the house yet but Gypsy approves of the jungle.

She used to visit this same backyard 5 yrs ago when she was the neighborhood stray. She and I have been here together several times since then when the house was unoccupied.
