Have you tried any toys or treats to make the indoors more appealing?. When you let them roam the house, it is okay for them to have places to hide where they can observe and feel safe.

Any updates? The cat actually knows this part of the house from coming in, and hasn't been able to go into rooms they haven't seen. the poor kitty is just desperate for escape. The bathroom door has already been left open for the cat in the bedroom. We now have the feliway and are getting rescue remedy tomorrow. The cat moves around, they just keep trying to get out. We need help keeping them calmer.
The cat is yelling less and less and not trying to esacpe as much. The cat has sniffed us, is playing with me, and is being let out more. Current struggle is having our two cats get along. Pepper tries to be friendly however, Annabell, our older house cat is not very accepting of other cats.Any updates?
