Then tell me Mr. scientist why is rerun responding to her hyperthyroid treatment? And why is Sams lung cancer stopped growing?
Yes, I am defensive. My first cat Batman was put to rest due to misinformation supplied to me by his vet. The vets little helpers came out to tell me he had lumps in his intestines and lungs. So I made that decision to end my best fur friend I ever had life. Later I found out he had pneumonia in the lungs, not cancer. That is when I took my cat Sam to a new vet had him rechecked for lung cancer and it had grown about 1/2 an inch in a month. The new vet told me to go to a cancer specialist, but I'm retired and can not afford it. So I researched and found that mushrooms can help for lung cancer treatment. So I tried it. Went back re-xrayed and sams tumor did not grow in 6 weeks. The problem I had with rerun was hyperthyroid and failing kidneys. The original vet gave me some pills and rerun stopped eating anything. Again I went to natural medicine. She has survived for 7 months now using a hyper thyroid mix and kidney treatment her hair is back to normal and she is eating normally.OK John, I’m not defensive you’re defensive! I mean that light heartedly.
I am extremely happy that your cat is doing well. I’m also very happy that what you chose to use is working. I don’t think anybody here would ever want you to “just let your cat die“.
The article, research that I posted is just for information to be careful. Just saying that not everything that works on humans will work on cats and that you have to be careful. Like I said it what you’re using is working on your cat that’s awesome I know several cats with lung cancer that are treated with prednisone or steroid injections. They seem to do OK for a while some longer than others. But nothing so far is a cure. Cats are amazing though and fortunately nobody tells them that they’re sick. Therefore not knowing that they only have X amount of days to live I think really helps. I mean with humans don’t get sick so you go to the doctor right? Anyway, there’s a lot that is not understood about cats. We have so much more to learn. There really does need to be a change.
If something doesn’t make sense I apologize, I am doing the hands-free thing with my phone.
Would you have a link to it please.I am sorry about Batman and Snickers. I am glad Sam is doing so well with the treatments. There was actually an article written recently in one of the Veterinary magazines about mushroom use in cats.
John, this is not the study, but it’s what I use. There are reviews for the product on both Chewy and Amazon: AMERICAN BIOSCIENCES NK-9 Immune System Support for Dogs & Cats, 30 count - Chewy.comWould you have a link to it please.
Thanks maggie I'm not sure SAm will eat these. Currently, I spray him 2 times twice a day.John, this is not the study, but it’s what I use. There are reviews for the product on both Chewy and Amazon: AMERICAN BIOSCIENCES NK-9 Immune System Support for Dogs & Cats, 30 count - Chewy.com
These are capsules, AHCC is virtually tasteless. I empty 1/2 capsule in his food and mix. He never knows it’s there. Spray him with what? I’ve missed something, lol. Thanks maggie I'm not sure SAm will eat these. Currently, I spray him 2 times twice a day.
