My positive is, I'm now eligible to sign up for the Pfizer vaccine. Have any of you guys had that one?
I had the Pfizer. No reaction to the first shot. Second shot I had a bit of a headache and was a little tired the next day. My arm was slightly sore, but when I raised and lowered it and worked it around gently, it seemed to help work out the soreness. And it wasn’t that bad anyway. It was about the same as my reaction to flu shots every year.

Happy Bday Elphaba09 Elphaba09 and strider rose strider rose !!!

My positive is, I'm now eligible to sign up for the Pfizer vaccine. Have any of you guys had that one? My mother is convinced that the only safe one is Moderna and she keeps telling me I'm gonna die. You know how she is, once she gets an idea in her head, there is no changing it. But that is the only one they are offering for my age group. Another positive is I can make my appointment right online!
I, along with 245 people in my building had the Pfizer vaccine.. We all survived!

The first dose was just a sore arm.. The second dose had the reactions: chills, slight fever, body aches and pains, which immediately disappeared at the 42 hour mark... Just plan on being sick for a couple of days.. Take Tylenol AFTER when you start feeling ill... no big deal.. just think of the alternative~~ Covid....

Ignore your mother... she deserves to be ignored.. just get some tylenol.. Do not take anything like aspirin, tylenol, or Advil/Motrin BEFORE the vaccine.. That seems to compromise the efficacy..

All the vaccines are safe.. You have to TRUST the SCIENCE....

My friend and her brother both got the Moderna.. they had no reactions, but some of their friends were sick as a dog... You can never tell how you are going to react...

At this point in time.. We cannot be choosy on which vaccine we get.. Just take what they offer and be thankful.. that you can be vaccinated...

((hugs))

A very Happy Birthday to Elphaba09 Elphaba09 & strider rose strider rose - hope you both enjoy your special day! :dunce: :jive: :party3:

M maggiedemi I agree with artiemom artiemom Ignore your mother. I also had the Pfizer vaccine and fortunately had no reaction with the exception of a little soreness in my arm and a little fatigue the first day but it didn't stop me from doing anything. If you look up the different vaccines you'll find the best one is the one you can get. I know it won't change your mother's mind but please do what's best for you. 🤗

My positive is in spite of the colder weather we had today the sun came out and made it feel warmer. :sunshine:

My positive is that I had a wonderful three-day birthday celebration! On Tuesday, my husband and I had sushi and played board games all night. He bought me a ton of new oil paints, 2 x 2s, and some canvas as a gift. On Wednesday, my son stopped by after work with some bulbs for my garden. Yesterday, my actual birthday, my husband and I got a new board game (of clearance for $15!). He then took me to the aquarium store, where I got three new female bettas, four different snails, two golden danios, and some plants. Then my daughter, Hobbit Baby, and I went out dinner. Hobbit Baby was an angel at the restaurant. When I got home, my husband and I put together some models for one of his games and watch a movie. It may not sound that exciting to others, but I had a lot of fun.

The board game we played on Tuesday was Star Wars: Rebellion. It was pretty intense because it came down to one last turn. My Death Star was powered up and read to destroy the rebel base. He had one way of stopping me: drawing the card that would enable him to destroy my Death Star. Guess what he drew. Yep. He blew it up. My other functioning Death Star was across the galaxy and unable to help. (Yep, we are dorks.)

Today, my sister sold her "old" car to my daughter, so she has no need to borrow mine anymore. (I say "borrow," but I rarely had it because of her work schedule. And, later tonight, my husband and I are building a new cat tower. Technically, I am building it while he looks cute and holds stuff for me.
