Mia6 Mia6 , W WillowMarie , there are two different brands of toffee pecans I have bought . One is located in the snack nut aisle. They are Emerald brand in a green bag and Target stores also carry them. They are the best. The other ones are generic store brand that I buy in the bulk purchase bin area. They are okay but not as good as the Emerald. The toffee pecans are sweet and crunchy and perfect when you need a little hit of sugar but not too much.

My positive is that I helped a friend who found a young feral cat in her yard last week. Thanks to everything I've learned on this site I was able to not only lend my support but provide her with constructive instructions and helpful information. :goldstar: She was able to trap the cat and take it to the vet today.

A friend came yesterday. He is a ginger cat and only has one eye. He is very sturdy but not fat. He stops by the back
yard a few times a week. I would like to pet him but if I attempt to approach him he runs.

I use to have a ginger cat with one eye named Tiger. He was the daddy of the group of ferals I adopted and took inside. I loved that boy.

Abby had her annual exam on Friday and the vet thought she looked great for her age. They called with her blood and urine results yesterday and some things are off, but again, not bad for her age. We are going to retest her urine in a few weeks.

My positive for today is I finally ordered a hooded litterbox from Chewy for the cats to try to cut down on the dust. They will probably hate it, but I figured I might as well try it instead of wondering if it would work. So I'll try it and then I will know once and for all. :crossfingers:

I love the garden ornament and it looks like he does as well!

Yesterday, I looked out and saw a baby black and white striped woodpecker was pecking on my tree!!
I've never seen a baby and it;s odd to see any in the winter.Made my day.
