Tonight we had a baked ham slice with a honey mustard glaze, roasted brussel sprouts and mashed butternut squash...to die for!I have to say,and I was surprised...I bought a bag of frozen sprouts awhile back at WalMart, and they were the great value brand. When I opened the bag this afternoon, they were so little...young and they were so tender and sweet.

This morning when Dear Richard took the bed sheets down to the washer, I asked him to bring something up from the freezer and then tell me what he wanted me to make with it. He brought a package of turkey kielbasa up and said, "Omelets, please!" "With kielbasa?" "Why not?" Well, all-rightey then!

So we're having kielbasa with omelets with sauteed onions, celery, red peppers, and 'shrooms. And maybe a bit of cheddar thrown into the mix. Nothing wrong with breakfast for dinner, esp on a Sunday.

I'm made dough for gyro bread (Greek pocketless pita) but don't have traditional ingredients to make a Greek gyro. I do have jalepeno sausage, peppers and onions. That will make a nice wrap. Chocolate pudding for dessert.

Now I'm craving tzatziki sauce. Maybe I'll pick up ingredients to make "real" gyros tomorrow.

I may change plans to bread/butter, bread/jam, bread/honey and skip the sausage/onion/pepper wrap idea.

The bread just came off the griddle and one piece somehow disappeared with honey. Not sure the other 3 pieces will actually survive until "formal" dinner time.

Today was a baking day.I made 2 loaves white bread,2 loaves whole wheat,a sheet pan full of blondies, and they're all out of the oven and cooling.I think for dinner we'll have breakfast, too.I set some sausage in the fridge yesterday to thaw,so I think I'll cook some patties and fix some scrambled eggs and toast to go with.EZPZ !
