I had the worse nights rest (wouldn’t even call it sleep)... just as I was nodding off an Amber alert blasted all of the phones in my house and then again around 1am that the alert was cancelled... I just checked the news and the kid was murdered by the father...
11-year-old girl sought in Amber Alert found dead in Brampton home, father arrested
Then since 1am my cats have been all excited since they thought I was up...
It’s 5am now... work starts in a little over 1 hour and then the trip!

I am just doing what I can... and even this I wouldn't have been able to do without each and every one of you.
I know I have been posting sad/depressing things lately since my kitty cat passed away, but I still cannot sit idly by and watch a cat being killed for such a stupid reason.

you are amazing, going (literally) the distance for that beautiful cat.
But, as a worrier, I'm concerned about you travelling at night into a snowstorm. Since you have till 6 PM Saturday to pick her up, please ensure you get off the road and into a hotel/motel if the driving conditions are too bad. Your own kitties need you safe and sound, as does the precious Himalayan.
Thanks for doing this for her. And thanks to everyone who has helped out financially. Cat people, and particularly the TCS community, are so generous.
