I made the herby pork roast/veggies/gravy again yesterday.
I was happy to share some with my old art teacher who is kinda like a mom to me, and she looooved it. :hearthrob:
This is my supper for the week!

When she saw the pic tho, she decided to give me one of her super nice REAL roasting pans.
I mean, I buy one of those "disposable" aluminum ones about once a year and just wash & reuse until it's too far gone, but she insisted that I needed a real one.

All on my own tonight, I ate early so I wouldn't feel guilty about hitting the fridge at 2 in the morning.
I just baked some chicken and steamed some vegetables. It sounds nuts but steamed vegetables are actually pretty good, plus steaming preserves color so you have to eat with sunglasses on :cool2:

Fried chicken. Potates, green beans, biscuits, the whole spread of comfort food for us.
After I make a pig of myself, I'll work off the extra calorie load by walking back and forth to the fridge to see if the dessert fairy arrived and left me something
