Let me guess :)
Tawny, girl
Feeby, boy
I'd guess female by both those names, but I'm sure I'm wrong. Maybe Tawny is the boy & Feeby the girl?
You guys were sweet to guess!! Tawny - boy, Feeby - girl. I only asked that to make a point: The name is whatever you want it to be for whatever reason you make it. And, your cats will always be OK with that!!

Thank you! Yes, I think we are supposed to get some rain tomorrow, so it will be a good day to stay in & relax. Maybe watch some movies. I wish she was a snuggler, but she's not. So I have to just be happy with her being on the bed with me. The closest I've gotten to snuggle/ sleep w/ her, is when she was curled up sleeping & I snuggled my forehead against her back and took a nap with her. :cloud9:

Yes, she's my sweet girl, but can be a little sassafras! ......but aren't most kitties?

I just had to add this..... She was out in the living room laying on the rug & she did something she hasn't done in a few wks. She laid on her side, then rolled to the other, & was rubbing her face back & forth on the rug, like she was scratching it. She was so cute. My parents & I were just watching her, happy to see her do that again. Seeming happy & content.
She just ate some more of her dinner, & is currently making biscuits on her blankey. :kneading::)

Hey, whatever name fits them, it doesn't matter. At least you used unisex names (there are many men named Angel too)!!

What would you think of two of my cats names: Tawny and Feeby - could you tell their sex by those names??
Helk no!

True dat! As long as you do everything they want - when they want it - how they want it LOL

I am sooo glad that Sammie is doing so well. That is the best thanksgiving news. All we can ask for is time. It's precious - every second that we get with them.

:)

She's hiding out under the bed this morning. Not only has it been raining, but we've had some rumbling thunder.
I was up between 6:45 & 7. Fixed her breakfsst, then after she ate some, (w/ me holding her dish for her while she sat on her thrown of course. :lovecat4:)
got her pilled, & went back to bed & slept in!
I was just using my finger, but had to start using the piller. The other day, I was walking down the hall a couple hrs later & found the piece of pill pocket I had just given her. I always syringe a little water in her cheek to make sure she's swallowed. That little stinker must have still had it in her mouth, or caughed it up. I don't know, but I'm using the piller gun from now on & water, just to be sure! "Little sneeky booger!" :rolleyes2:

Checking in to see what's happening with your baby.
Ciao!
Thank you so much. :)
She's doing great today. It's been nice here on the NC coast. It got up to 65 today, so as soon as all the rain stopped, we opened a couple of windows. She loves to sit up in them. I've got a piece of foam wrapped in a towel I put up there for her to sit on, so she's more comfortable on the frame sticking up in the middle.
"The princess" was served din, din on her tree tonight, so she wouldn't have to get down......"yep....just a little spoiled!" LOL!!
She's gone between setting in the window & laying curled up in her blankie today.
I think/ hope the lasix is working, she's peed 3xs between early morning & afternoon.

......and mamma is relaxing with a much needed second glass of wine after dinner!

That is wonderful! I am so happy for you and her!
Thank you! She's doing fine today. Had to pull her out from under the bed to give her meds this morning. She didn't quite finish dinner last night, so I did add a cypro in w/ her pred & lasix this morning. All in a 1/2 a pill pocket. Treats after! (Beyond, grain free).
It's another nice afternoon here. It's 62 right now, at 3:30. (Been in the mid 40's at night).
So window is open for her. She's been up & down in it. She's munching on some Natural Balance kitten food, that I got a sample bag of at the natural pet food store my ex works at. I'm glad she's eating more today!
Drinking good too! The lasix must be working. She had one of those big baseball size pee clumps in the box this morning! :)
She still hasn't had to use the one I put iin my room...just in case. (I'm glad) ,
Maybe because she's only on a low dose.

She's looking good.

When does she see thee Doctor again to see if fluids have lessened?

White Label drank a lot too when she was on those meds - drinking and peeing.

Well....I was hoping for less fluid today, but..
She drained 184 CC's. 14 large syringes. :sigh::frown: It was a lot. That was after 5 days this time, vs/ 4. Our next appt is Sat. At 11:00.

I asked her if she knew about how long she'd have. She said probably weeks.
That she would get to where the fluid will build up quicker, & we won't want to drain her that often.
I've been praying it doesn't happen at Christmas time. I've been praying that we can at least get through New year's.
I knew it would be coming, just didn't have any kind of approx approximate time line.
I'm typing this with tears in my eyes..
I just can't believe I'll be losing another baby inside of 3 years. :bawling:
The only positive I can take from this, is that she's not out there alone, suffering.

Here's the x-ray from tonight. She weighed 9lbs before draining, & 8.4 after.
