beardrinksbeer beardrinksbeer -- Saw this and thought of you. Cats enjoy their trees, all right, but they're not the only ones. A bear got into a backyard hot tub and drank a guy's margarita and just so this doesn't go OT:

Thank you for thinking of me tarasgirl06, that explains why I woke up the other morning like a bear with a sore head

Only 5 more days till me & the boys are out of here. nothing much to do here
the boys only go out at night as they are scared of the sheep during the day, but it does not scare them at night - go figure
I could have gotten a photo of them on the roof, but it does not come out good taking a shot at night
one had a go at climbing my rear view mirror, not very exciting

he jumped from there before onto the fly-wire :)
they go onto the top of the wardrobe to get some sleep, but that ain't no cat tree

one climbed up on the air-con unit, I have a hard time telling them apart; but Monster has a small lump on his tail, maybe from a mozzie bite

they are climbing the walls to get out of here & into their new home. I didn't tell them it rains most of the year there with an annual rainfall of over 2 metres :storm:

I will. It has just been repetitive the last few weeks.

Monster has been out all night & day the last few weeks, but he seems to know we are going in a few days; it helps when daddy has been counting down from 42. They know numbers as I has been counting to them since they were midgets.

We used to get near 0 overnight where we were so I used to count from 0 (freezing) to what it was. It grew into a big number during summer, but they still want to go out & do their thing; but they still come back for a feed when they are hungry & I let them out after they have a gut full

No, that wasn't me, that must have been the beer ;)
Mozzie bites are one of the least pleasant things I can think of. Best wishes on your move -- and can you send some of that rain here, pls? It was 115F here yesterday and of course, no rain in sight. Today it's supposed to be a "cool" 104F.:sweat: I dunno that there'll be much tree-climbing today.

Elvis, lounging by the cat trees, glad they're there for when he wants to climb:winkcat:

No one here has EVER used the crow's nest except Tarifa.

“Mine,” Tarifa says. The tree I have is more of a stump: only about 32 inches tall with a great view out of the window. The top spot is an easy step from the windowsill. One cat will be in the top bed and another will sit on the windowsill and nibble on toes and tail until the cat in the bed gets fed up and jumps down. The nibbler smirks and takes possession. I bought a mammoth tree at Costco for a great price but had to return it. The two arthritic 14-year-olds couldn’t manage more than the lowest level, and the athletic four-year-old could barely manage the top bed which was about six feet up.
