My heart just melts when arnold curls up in my lap, tucks his head into the crook of my arm and goes to sleep. Everything that I had to do that day.............just became much less important.

I joke that if an autopsy was done on me, they would probably find several pounds of cat fur in my stomach and lungs...lol
Arnold insists on sleeping next to my head and we share the same pillow. But in truth im quite happy with this arrangement. Often in the middle of the night, he will lean back and rub the top of his head against my face, break into a loud purr and then go back to sleep. Im so very lucky.
Oh how sweet!! 
The only way Gypsy will sleep on our bed is in her own bed at the foot. And the only way she will use her cat bed is if it is turned upside down...It is a very nice bed with tall sides and a reversible pillow, best guess is that she doesn't like the enclosed feeling. Our little weirdo, love her lots....

What a great start to a new year. Arnold cuddling in my lap again........as I type as photogragh this with one hand so as to not disturb him.

What the heck happened?
Were you playing 'hands'?
Its a new game I have developed for the boys amusement. ...I call it .....appropriately. ......"bleeding finger". We dont play it often, only once ive forgotten how much it can hurt.
Entirely my fault, he wasnt trying to hurt me, just excited on cat nip. The instant I yelped (syringes dont usually hurt me, but his single claw did), he immediately jumped up stopped playing and stared at me.
These boys have big claws and like all cats, they are curved so the more you pull away, the deeper they dig in.......if you can get over the pain....its really quite impressive. They have literally sliced thru our leather furniture, just playing running and pivoting on it........not using it to scratch and sharpen their claws.
How can a paw, so velvety, shimmering, and wrapped in soft warm fur.....be such an effective weapon? Rhetorical question....I know first hand.
So I guess this was a "tenderizing" moment (tenderizing my finger)
