It's supposed to be in the upper 70's and not overly humid today.

Last night at 1 a.m. it was 80, with a heat index of 91. The humidity was 87%. In the house it was 51%. Just about every day is in the low-to-mid 90s with high humidity and thunderstorms that only let things steam cook afterward. AC is an absolute must here and it runs 24/7 even though our thermostat is set at 79. Of course it only gets hotter here until mid-September. It cools down to highs in the 80s in October. That's why it's my favorite month. Right now we have to get through July and August, and most of September. August is the worst of all.

I think I'll go get something cold to drink and pretend it's October.

October is autumn here, my favorite season, and temps are usually in the upper 40's to low 60's. I could never make it in TX with high 80's in October but I guess you get used to the weather wherever you live. ;)

It is 80 right now and humid. It is suppose to be in the upper 90'S the rest of the week. The heat index will be in the 100's. I saw on the news this morning that the last two weeks of July and the first week in August. are the hottest time of the year.

Muggy, muggy, muggy, sticky, humid, muggy, muggy, muggy.

I was on the treadmill this morning and

We're getting t-storms, but they're doing nothing to cut down on the stickiness. It's just ugly.

(And you do realize that, in another 6 months, we'll be complaining about the ice and snow? Well, I will be!)

Right now, our temperature is 80 degrees....with a RealFeel of 101 degrees because of the humidity.

It's 86 degrees with a real feel of 98. The humidity will knock you down as soon as you open the door. I can't wait for autumn to finally get here.

I can't wait either. I hate this weather. According to one TV station here we are suppose to have a heat index of 105 on Friday.

Right around 70 degrees. A very, very dense fog this morning. Trying to get out onto the main highway was tricky because I couldn't see much at all. I turned the music off and put the windows down, trying to see. Almost pulled out once, but a white car came by me....with no headlights. That could have been ugly. On foggy days, I like to go to the traffic light, but I can't; between me and the light is a bridge, which is out right now and all traffic has been detoured. It was tricky getting out onto the main road.

Yes, the humidity is really bad.. and it feels so hot outside. I had shut off the AC and opened up the windows upon waking, but now, I am about to shut things down and put the AC back on...Artie is loving the sun.. he is basking in it.

79 degrees, feels like 85...humidity is fierce...sticky!! :livid:

I would rather a hot, DRY day... then I could at least sit outside for a few minutes, without getting damp.

Muggy, muggy, muggy here too. And, yes, I'll be right with you complaining about the ice and snow in 6 months too. :sigh:

You won't see me complaining in 6 months. I welcome the snow with open arms. That's when I'm really glad to be retired.
